I don't get what the title means.
This is funny.. first #1.. off the charts.. and #1 again. I was sure that Kitten Yiffer would beat me while I was away for like three hours in the end, but Hiryuu spreed through. Huh.

Emptyeye, what's the average paycheck someone gets for working?

oh man I'm not joking. Lilmario freaking linked me. Kwan said the knife going through his head was a nice touch. Seriously, it was so ridiculously gruesome that it seemed unreal.. I expected a disclaimer to popup saying "this is all bullshit, we just went into photoshop".. damn.

They LET their kids? They showed it to the whole class or had some schedule thing or what? That's messed up. I didn't see the first one.. I saw the image of him sitting in a chair before the fact, and the idea of seeing the last moments of his life was enough to make me not want to see more, and have a nightmare. yay.

My definition of a hacker has two parts: One, you need to want to learn. Two, you don't settle for the options you're given, if they don't suit you. In other words, you try to make the computer (or whatever else you may be hacking) do what you want it to regardless of whether or not it's supposed to, and are willing to do some research to accomplish this. By this definition, I call myself a hacker. I don't use tools to do things, unless I don't know how to do them, and then I get a tool and find out how it works. But.. I NEVER break into other people's computers. I'm a hacker, not a cracker. And certainly not a script kiddie.

If i'm not mistaken layouts dont show when youre not logged in anyway. so unless bots have valid cookies for some reason they wont load the layout and appear in the wootest.net logs.

anyway.. maybe its just because im a huge geek... but i find the html specs on w3c to actually be interesting to read, and itll help you with your compatibility problems a lot... IE may be behind, but most valid html will render consistently in it anyway.. its nice to have small code, but its much more readable and trustworthy if you err on the side of safety (e.g. closing td tags, using quotes for attributes etc)

im working on a layout myself... because im bored.

If you want to read about TRUE hackers, pick up a copy of 2600 magazine sometime (I know Barnes & Noble carries it, not sure of any others). There's some pretty hardcore stuff in there.

I saw it... I was glad that I was looking on it with my friends in the middle of the day. If I watched it before sleeptime I wouldn't sleep...

Besides, I didn't really wanted to watch it. But I felt forced to....

Yes, it looks like it does say slut. In Swedish slut does mean "End" or "The end". So many english people have looking through on the end of our comics and got offended by the ending.

That's why I read the license agreement on programs.

Sometimes there can be hidden things, especially on non-open source freeware program. *cough*Kazaa*cough*

Never bought anything on ebay. I have been thinking on too much how the shipping would cost for me.

Oh, no, I didn't even bother uninstalling the old version. I just went through and tossed every single folder I could find containing into the bin.

Needless to say, the fact that it scrolls at ONE LINE AT A TIME [hell, even IE goes about 3 or so] doesn't help much.
My copy scrolls four lines at a time. It's all about mouse settings. Scrolling settings in particular are a jungle.

Let's see... hm. The fact that it uses the wrong scheme [my menu text is black, you piece of shit, not bright gray, and it's also tahoma, not Press Start K] and if you use a non-default font [cough PSK] for application text [like I did] you end up getting the Prefs box that cuts off half the stuff because they weren't smart enough to use the default font like every other dialog box out there [and it's resizable, another few points off]...
Another few points ON. It's meant to be resizable. Look at the Advanced panel for example; you'll fit a lot more if you resize the window. As for the themes, they hardcode fonts and stuff to fit the boxed Windows XP install. So thus if you're a Windowblinds junkie or just like to mess around with settings in general, they don't fit as well.

So far the only thing that's helped is getting the Doodle scheme [nifty buttons] and that's it. Any other attempts to get something ended with an error or it just not working period. [Waiting, dur]

And whenever I'd try and get something [like, say, Mouse Gestures or Ad Block] it'd pop up the "blah blah installed ok blah restart" dialog about six times.

Then it didn't even work right.
They just made some big changes in extensions before releasing 0.9. Not at all needed and a bad move in general, I think.

To make it so I don't forget, it also will put verticle and horiz. scollbars if needed, whereas both other browsers will only do it if the code SAYS to do it; this makes it a pain editing layouts because of the rediculously tiny verticle area... argh.

Oh, and did I mention that the 'view source' dialog sucks? I'll look through the options [again] ... I'd rather use Meatpad for that.
That View Source comment struck a chord with me. There's only two things in Mozilla overall that I highly disagree with - that you can't copy an image to the clipboard like YD said and that viewing source won't open up in a text editor but instead in some shitty window that sort of looks like an editor but isn't. Again, there are extensions for both, but this is BASIC BEHAVIOR that I think should be included by default. If anyone wants to file a bug, they have my blessing. It seems this has already been entered. The current bug says it's assigned and will be added after 1.0 ships, which I guess is good, while it's still bad that it's not there now.

The copy image thing is in Firefox 0.9. Just right click on a image...

Edit: BTW, drag and drop works with the pictures... I never noticed that before. I'm not sure if it's new but... heh
