I was also thinking about the Moonflow Cafe or something like that, anyway, this is a general chat area where people can go and hang out, sorta like a pool hall or a square-type setting.No spam. No back and forth meaningless posting, and do not abuse this thread, please. Lets have fun again. |

My weekend will be basically me coughing, and revising for my last 2 tests. I've had this cough a month now, and I patented the term, The Cough No-one Cares About (TM, C, Gravy). Some friends have asked me how I was, but I am mainly defining the people part as my family  Is the ACS coming back? Did I ever get anything on it? Who knows!  |

| Town Square? Who came up with that stupid name, eh? ...Oh, wait, it was me. My bad. ...Lol. Oh, but please no, not 'Moonflow Cafe'... Sounds like... I don't know. A cheap Starbucks. I'd have to say I agree with Hiryuu that we should attempt the ACS completely all over again. Yeah, it might incite spam, but... Well, all *sorts* of things incite spam. And at least with an ACS, people would be able to monitor spam very easily. You could see who is posting too much and everyone ends up coming to a group conclusion on who's spamming and who's not, so there were never really any arguements about that 'back in da day'. |

| About the ranks... is it me or is the Ranks section of the board broken? I selected Zelda ranks from the menu and... nothing happen. I refresh the page and it stills show the Mario ranks. | Whoa, I really didn't expect something like this to appear... but, I believe it couldn't have come at a better time. Right before everybody gets out of school and the summer season starts. Hmmm, so he added the Zelda ranks in? Maybe I should use them for a good while, they did have a lot of work put in them. What game is that custom rank from though, Fyxe?  |

| The little slime isn't a custom rank... well... I think since it is impossible to view all the ranks (Ranks section of board is broken). It's part of the new regular ranks. Now, you have the choice between many regular ranks: Mario-style, Zelda-style, and Gunbound-style. To change the regular rank style, go to edit profiles and simply select a rank style from the menu. | Personally, I was wondering about that myself...the various ranks pages were definitely there before the implementation of them. I'm cool with this new Zelda one...I have the thrill of discovering new ranks all over again (If anyone is curious, Kiwibonga used to use acmlm board source. Suffice to say that my lead in posted was approximately the same proportion as Acmlm's lead here pre-board crash, though on a smaller scale--I had around 6000 posts at the time I left there)!  So yeah...at the moment, I'm trying to brush up on basic C++. Interesting stuff, though I'm mostly doing it so I can move onto the more object oriented stuff (Which Franklin Pierce College, not being known for its CS department, didn't teach me in Fundamentals of Programming). |

No need to have a general chat topic when you could just have a general chat forum, which we already have. 3) If the designated general chat forum doesn't suffice for ya, you can always go to the other more famous general chat area, that you're not supposed to know how to get to even though you probably already do Yes, I speak of the...Spoiler: LOST THREADS OMG! 4) Of course, I can understand why one would just want a "sup, hows it hanging whatcha doing" whatever topic... but um... we have this place called #acmlm where you can do all that too. Get an IRC client to reach it. 5) Perhaps the general chat forum name could use some upgrading... so why not call it the... ok, someone else decide. I suck with names. Call me what you want for being a jackass in this thread, but I don't see the point of it. And don't tell me "don't post in it then" because well... I won't. | The Zelda ranks were planned for a long time, but Fyxe just finished them recently, so I got to work on that new feature (slowly, but yep) and wanted to add GunBound ranks as well I'm probably going to switch around every once in a while, or stay with the Zelda ranks ... And if you're wondering why the post amounts for the higher GunBound ranks (above 1000 posts) vary and aren't round numbers, look here at the bottom, but with 1000 posts instead of 6900 GP, no dragon ranks, and much less people Other than that, not much to say for today |
