I probably won't be able to join ... at least using ZBattle.net, it simply ran too slowly to me with about 4-5 FPS (for me opponent in full speed, so I fell down quite often in Ghost Valley 1 ... usually I have very good times in here and never touch the wall or fall down  ). | Well you don't necessarily have to use zbattle.net for this though...you can always just get the person on IM or IRC and take down their IP and have person who gave IP out host and go through ZSNES' netplay thing. No client other than that is really needed. | |||

| The DOS versions supports modem/serial play I think... but it's only used by people with dial-up. Besides doing it over the internet is cheaper, and the Windows version is more efficient. Unless you have a old pentium computer. |

| As far as I know, the Windows version only supports UDP, while the DOS one is not developed entirely, and supports the TCP/IP protocol only ... I have major problems when someone sits behind a router, if he/she doesn't use one, I can connect most of the time with someone; if you know how to forward ports on your router (the neccessary port # is shown in the ZSNES Netplay -> Internet menu), this could help a lot increasing the chance if two people with and without router want to play a match  By the way, my joypad will be worn out soon, heh, guick puzzle games like Tetris Attack seem to be real killers for my SpeedLink USB Any recommendations for a good PC pad which is not more expensive then ~25 Euros ? (Don't tell me "get an SNES pad to PC adaptor"  )@Imoto: Okay, I'll mark you with "not sure". @Clockworkz: Sorry, I already forgot where I got the ROM from, I will post the CRC from my Tetris Attack ROM I used the last time, this can be checked when typing /zcrc after connected in mIRC w/ the Z-Net script installed. Only specify the game in the "Open" dialog, and you'll have the number  My ROM's CRC is 43519EC9, using the file name: tetris attack (u) [!].smc (edited by Gandalf The Grey on 05-25-04 08:01 AM) |
