It went over the $2 mark here in Coventry sometime this week, and it shows no sign of going down anytime soon.

I don't drive yet, but my parents won't be taking me anywhere anytime soon.

10,48 SEK per liter or 47,64 SEK per gallon
In US dollars that is...

1,35 USD per liter or 6.16 USD dollars per gallon.

No i'm not kidding.

I wonder which country who have the highest gas prices in the world.

But I actually don't care that much, I take the bus... thought it affects my parents who use the car everyday.

Believe me, I've noticed. $5 doesn't go as far as it used to.

Perhaps getting a summer job will help with my expenses coming up...

Here in northern New Jersey it's reached ~$1.85, and it's still on the rise. I don't drive yet, but all of those automobile-intensive plans my friends and I have set for the summer are looking pretty darn expensive now...

wtf? there is actually a city with more expensive gas than the SF Bay Area? i thought we had the unfortunate recognition of having the most expensive gas in the nation hands down... gas prices around in the SF Bay Area hover from aroudn $2.50 in SF to $2.25 in San Jose and $2.37 in Oakland...

Solution = get cars with better gas mileage. Not that this applies to most of you, since you probably have cheap old used non-hybrid cars, but yea..

I will sacrifice better gas mileage in order to drive my kickass car around. Plus, it's not that bad, it gets mid 20s MPG on the average.

Gas here was $1.799 when I filled my mom's car with regular unleaded on Sunday.

I paid like $2.029 though, at a station ~5 miles away, for 89 octane (didn't realize Sheetz was that much cheaper). Fucking >$40 to fill my tank, at 10MPG

We're getting gouged at the pumps too.

It's around 94-98 cents a litre on the island of Montreal depending where you go. I think the east end has the highest prices.

Go OFF the island though... and you can pay 78 cents in St-Hyacinthe.

We're pushing two bucks a gallon for Unleaded right now in Peoria, IL...Premium's near 2.20.

It is summer though...gas prices are always high during this time of the year. Course I remember that one time for like...a day or so...when the gas shot up to five bucks a gallon...and I wanna say that was around 9-11.

I remember just one or two days, some short while and it was just a couple of years ago, when Springfield, IL had gas hit 5 bucks a gallon. I don't remember when though...

$1.90- $2.35 here in California. I think it's over $ 2.35 now. I always ask why are they so high. I wonder though..I think I know why but I'm not sure

90 cents. If when it hits a buck, I'm switching to electric. (Well I guess it wouldn't be switching since I don't have a car, but you get the idea.) I don't care if it's slow, ugly and needs to recharge every 6 hours, I ain't paying that much for gas. Even if I could afford it.
This reminds me of just a few days ago, when I saw someone asking for 10 bucks worth of gas... The first thing I thought was "Bob, get the eyedropper!".
