Yeah, this story is supposed to be funny, it is short, but I think I may go further with the actual idea....

"Hey Mom! Are we going to the bank?"
"Yes Timmy, we are."
"Yay!"
Timmy was always excited to go to the bank, and he had only one reason. This one reason was known to children everywhere; kids get suckers. When he went to the bank, the person behind the glass would always ask, "Would you like a sucker young man?" Who would pass up an offer like that? So, Timmy's day was already a good one, because he knew a sucker was in his future.
As they pulled up, Timmy raced to the door. "Come on Mom, hurry!" the child exclaimed. He just couldn't wait to get his hands on a sucker. They walked in and got in line. Timmy, like most children waiting on candy, was very impatient. He kept looking around the man in front of him as if the line would get shorter with every look. One by one, the people were being helped, and Timmy was just a little closer to that sucker. Finally, the man in front of them got to the window. Timmy was more anxious than ever. He began to jump up and down, waiting for his tasty treat.
"Come on mister, hurry up!"
The man turned and glared at the boy, he froze. Suddenly, he didn't care if he got a sucker. He wanted to go home. "That man scared me Mom," he said with fear in his voice.
"Excuse me sir, could be a little more polite to my son?"
"Get on the floor"
"Wha..." her words were cut short. The man turned and flashed his gun around the room, telling everyone to get on the ground. Within seconds, everyone was on the ground. Timmy didn't know what to do, he was scared out of his mind then.
As a bag was being filled with money, no one noticed a tall man in green spandex walk in. He came to the man and tapped him on the shoulder.
"You are robbing this bank."
He turned and looked at the man, and immediately began to laugh. He could not contain his laughter. "Who are you supposed to be?" he muttered amidst the hysterical laughter.
The man in spandex said nothing. Instead, he pointed at his top. Across his torso, there were words that read "I AM CAPTAIN OBVIOUS"
The man's laughter finally ceased, and he immediately proceeded to aim his gun at the strange character.
"You are aiming your gun at me."
"Wow, you are a smart one. What am I doing now?"
"You are walking out the side doors." And as always, Captain Obvious was correct. The man was exiting the building by way of the side doors. Captain Obvious ran to the door, opened it, and yelled after the man, "You will get away with this!"
He shut the door and went back inside, the people looked on in awe. They couldn't believe what they had just seen. They began asking him why he didn't do anything and why he wore spandex.
"No need to thank me."
He walked towards the door, and as he grabbed the handle, he turned and spoke his words of truth, "I am walking through this door." With that, he was gone. And all he left behind was a group of very confused people.

Umm......is this supposed to be responded to? Or is it just for crowd pleasure? I don't get it.

Well, I was hanging out with my friends the other night playing Tenjo. I looked at one guy and said "You are going to lose," and then just stared at him. One of the other guys said "No shit! Thanks for pointing that out Captain Obvious!" Now, people get called captain obvious all the time, but is there a book about him ot comics or anything? No. So I decided to write some short stories about Captain Obvious.

Oh, sorry about that. I never actually posted in the story forum before. Didn't think to look at the rules, thought the title explained it well enough....oh well.
