| has anyone been white water rafting? im heading out on another trip this friday and am coming back this sunday. if you havent gone rafting, you should, its one of the funnest things you will do. if you have been rafting, what did you think of it? |

I haven't done it before..I can't really uhh..swim very well and so yeah. I'm scared too. I might fall off and get sucked down into the unkown  .I could have with this job thingy to gain trust along with your co-workers or whatever but I have summer school so I didn't apply for that job. I will one day when I learn how to swim better. |

| On a camp a few years back, we went rafting down the snowy river for about 5 days. It was wicked fun, although a couple of time we got stuck on rocks and the whole raft filled up and became submerged. Then we'd camp on the little beaches at night. Once it got so shallow my mate and I got out and hoisted the raft up, still containing two girls and four packs, and carried until it got deep enough to paddle. Tris PS: I hit the right button this time. |

| Rafting is awesome. Altho I only tried it once, it was a great experience. We went to a pretty calm river tho...We could jump into the water and then come back on board... A week later, I heard someone had died in a nearby, rough river while rafting there.. Not very pleasant to hear things like that. Anyway, it's fun...just dont die.. |

| My youth group's yearly rafting trip is perhaps the most popular of any event we host, trailed closely by the ski trip. It's really funny watching each raft's occupants meeting to work out a strategy months in advance. You see, the groups are predetermined and change little from year to year, and there is always fierce competition to toss opponents into the water or steal their oars. Thinking of it, I can say that the two times I have gone have been the most fun I have ever had, and I look forward to August. |
