| Although it's mentioned in both the Newbie FAQ and the regular FAQ, I feel that this is becoming a problem, so I'd like to emphasize it. Please watch your thread bumping. I've noticed a lot of newbies lately posting in threads nearly 2 months old, sometimes even 3 months. It's not a severe problem, but it gets pretty annoying, and could even get you banned if you go too far with it. Please, try to post in threads on the first page(s), depending on how many threads per page you have set. Also, try to avoid posting in threads where the last post is less than 3 weeks old, if not less. In the end, it makes for a better board for everyone. There are a few exceptions, however. In "stickied" threads, you can post anytime, as they will always stay near the top. Also, if you have a problem similar to a very old one, it's okay to post a new thread, as far as I know. Hopefully this will stop some future thread bumping problems. If a moderator or administrator could sticky and close this... |
