I don't think it was legal at ALL. But some games and apps did that or something similar (you know, wipe your address book or something). None of the "big-name" programmers/companies resorted to such tactics though. At worst they'll just lock you out of the program. |

Gimp 2, everyone who have been in #silvey knows how much I talk about that program and how I love it. Sure it far from replacing Photoshop. But it's free, and faster than Photoshop (which takes ages to load...) |

i would think that there isnt a specific law against or for it, and in the event of a lawsuit, im sure you would have a good case. although i would probably just find a less destructive means of protecting your software |
