| I just purchased Episodes 87 to 95 on 2 DVDs a couple of weeks ago. I still haven't watched the entire first DVD yet, but it seems pretty interesting so far. This is part of the Meiji collection -- but I have to buy the other episodes to get the full story. How about you guys, have you seen RK, and/or some of these episodes? | |||

| I've seen all the normal episodes. After the part where they kill that dude in the bandages (can't recall the name) it starts to get boring and there are a lot of annoying filler episodes. I enjoyed it mostly up until after the fight with the bandaged guy. | |||

| Yeah... after that first huge arc it does go downhill somewhat with all the filler eps and everything. The timing of it is off IMO. They needed to plan it out better. But this is still one of my favorite series. I especially love both OVAs. If you haven't seen the first one, do so, even while currently watching the TV series. Do NOT see the second one, however, until you've seen all of the TV show. | |||

| I'm sorta "halted" as far as watching the series goes, as I haven't been able to find a DVD to continue my collection. But I enjoy the series. It is a pretty "light" series, nothing really thought provoking about it or anything like that, and generally I don't like a lot of stuff like that, but there's something about Rurouni Kenshin that makes me enjoy it anyways. I think it's Kenshin himself. I think I really like the character, mostly because of the strong set of morals and sense of justice conveyed. |

| I've honestly only seen maybe 4 episodes of Ruroni Kenshin and those were the first four on the VHS Dub I have. I've seen some of the manga though. The most classic Kenshin line ever : Dislocated Groin.... |

I'm downloading all the 96 or whatnot episodes there are. 15 fucking gigs. It's tearing my hd to parts. It'll be fun burning that out without dvdburner. I liked the movie (aka, samurai x) so I think I'll like the series. I usually don't like long series. They remind me of DBZ  |

| Samurai X is just what they call the OVA/Movies in America because Anime Works has the rights to the series. I thought that the TV series was better, but not by much. Overall, it's not too indulging or exciting. | |||

I mainly like it because of the sword- swirling, speed and the neat tricks that Kenshin and Co. put into effort. But their right. After Shishio, the thing starts to get boring. They just walk around talking and training and laughing and stuff. Shisio was probably like the "final boss" if this was an RPG game. Funny i should mention that.
