Now, this movie is hailed by some to be the scariest movie ever, and is know as at least ONE of the scariest movies ever. I watched it a few nights ago, with munchies, and I admit, it is a freaky show. Can be pretty disturbing. But it didn't really 'scare', or 'spook' me one bit.

It was a good movie though, too bad they had to ruin alot of it by making sequels

Good movie? Yes.
Scary? No, not at all.

For a really scary movie, I suggest The Shining (the version of it starring Jack Nicholson)

Ugh, thanks for reminding me that a remake existed of that movie Z. I had forgotten about that abomination for years.

Anyway, I feel the same way. They had been saying this was the scariest movie of all time but I wasn't scared at ALL. It was fun to watch, but not scary.

The best scene from that movie was the spiderwalk down the stairs that was cut out. Now that was awesome.

Oh, and mad props for them using all those hidden...thingy things.

2 is a lot of sequels? Only one of those sequels sucked.

Now, the prequel looks bad ass.

I saw the prequel of it in the previews before the screening of The Chronicles of Riddick, and I must say I am impressed. I don't see myself seeing it, though.

All my life I was told that The Exorxist was a super scary movie....I mean SUPER SCARY MOVIE!!! I was actually scared to watch it as a kid because I had heard it was so scary, but a few years ago I was like....awww screw it Im gonna go buy it. So I did and I watched it and afterwards I was like.....THAT WASNT SCARY AT ALL! I SPENT 20 BUCKS ON THAT?!

Personally I though The Ring was WAY scarier...but thats perobably because of the experience I had after watching it.

I found the Ring to be a crappy movie and not scary at all

Now The Exorcist I've only seen a little bit of. I just found it kind of scary because it could really happen. My mom didn't want me to see it. I saw some last year. I need to watch all of it. I think my mom thought it was scary because she's kind of religous. From what I saw, it was a good movie.

Eh, it el sucked

Hmm..all the old school horror flicks are much scarier then the newer ones. All the newer ones can't get a scare out of me at all. I think if I would have sat down and watched The Exorcist in the dark then that would most likely freak me out. My mom told me not to watch it on Sundays =P

I remember the Exorcist. For a while all I heard from peple who had seen it was: SCARY SCARY OMG!! and I was like "Yeah, I'll give that one a miss".

Saw it and thought: Not scary. Yes, what a dull thought. But true.

There was another version of the Shining? Only ever seen the Jack Nicholson one, whichs seems to be the better one.

Oh yeah, and I like the Exorcist theme: Do do do doo do, do doo do do!

Or something like that

The first and only time I saw the Exorcist was when I was about 12, it was nighttime, and I tried to play Starcraft instead of watching it.

I watched parts, but it was enough for me to mistake a vacuum cleaner for the girl, and make me bash it into a wall.

I've never seen it myself, although I do have it about somewhere. But I have read the book, and thats excellent. I love the way that you never know for sure if she's really posessed or just insane because they're evidence for both. And I read the cruifix (sp?) scene to all my friends to weird them out

Eh I wouldn't watch the sequel even if I had that. It'd probably ruin my views on everything about the movie Most sequels suck anyway.

That is scary . I did hear she had some problems but not that she had just psychological problems and that it made her have troubles with her relationships. That's what freaks me out now too .
