| Family Comp: Windows XP SP1 The Box Next To My Bed: Used to have Windows XP SP1, but replaced with Red Hat Linux Professional Workstation 3, then Fedora Core 1, and after a minor deletion, Fedora Core 2 (which it is at now) Sk00l/Work: Mac OSX 10.2.8 (being upgraded to 10.3.x over the summer, probably) OR Mac OS 9.2 on the older machines |

| I have WinXP Pro SP1 on my PC. I did have SP2 on it for a while but it seriously choked on my IIS, so that came off again soon after. Though I have to admit, I like what SP2 has. | |||

That's not too bad. For a while I was running winME on an HP. So THERE.  ...Hey, when you got yours, did you have to install an extra fan to keep it from melting itself? I did.  Cost a bundle, since I had to have a hole put in the case for it. |

No i never had a problem with over heating  . My HP has remained the same parts wise, since I got it in like 1998 or 99. But it does tend to attract trojan viruses though  . What model was you old HP? My current one is a 647OZ. (edited by Spyware on 06-21-04 05:54 PM) |

| No, but it will be released quite soon. I think you can actually download a beta right now. And I have planned to install Fedora core 2, I just hadn't got around doing it on this computer. I have a empty harddrive just for FC2. I have Fedora core 2. Reid, trust me. It's a good idea to learn how to use the terminal. If you don't know how to, I had to use it alot.  Loan a book about red hat (it's similar enough) and read how you use Linux. Or you just use the internet/IM buddies as I did. Hehe... (edited by Kitten Yiffer on 06-21-04 09:56 PM) |
