I've never taken a train before and we have an Amtrack line downtown, but it doesn't look that busy. I used to take the city bus up until I was 19. Real pain. Mostly homeless people, people who take drugs and those likes ride the bus. Now, don't get me wrong, not everyone on the city bus is like that. But at the main bus station downtown...well, that's another story. Lets just say while being on the bus and at the station, you have to look tough. |

Yeah.. Quality is quite different in different Countries for Public Transportation. Our Trainstation is cleaned weakly with water, and the Providers are taking meassures for more Security and Cleanliness. |

My friend almost fell out of the window of a bus one time. Those windows are not even suppose to open.

No that's not good. Then you better not use Busses there. It really depends, when the service is good, and reseonable priced, take advantage of it, else, get a car. Here, if you'll run over by a Train, and survive, you'll pay a fee for delaying trains and the work that was done to get you of from the Train. |

Don't have to use busses. I'm getting my new car next month and the one I have right now, will work until then anyway.

Today was a little incident. The driver had to do a fullstopp, because another just drove on the street. One passenger, wich was standing, flew trough the hole Bus. (About 10 to 15 meters) |

Once I was coming home from watching a football match (we won ), then some fans were _too_ drunken and one of them shouted "Let's hop up and down !"; they began to jump up and down ... until one axis under the bus broke (how dumb can some people be, when drunken ?) Well, we'll had to wait for the next bus |

I had a problem the other day... I took the wrong train and had to wait in a rough area for a train to come back the other way... It was really cold and I had no coat. To make matters worse, it was detention chuck out time, and all the school kids were heckling me |

Kasumi - Shouldn't they know better? You are their senior... The good thing about bus routes here is that they're on time 99% of the time. The only problem is when school lets out - a few buses are on school routes so sometimes there's not enough at the terminal - as a result, they tend to skip routes ever so often. |

Oh.. Schoolbusses, here, they just send two special courses for the School. ie. Two 20meter Busses are full, for two stops, then they return. And about detention: Here, delayed trains are a acceptable excuse for missing lessons. (edited by KawaiiImoto-e on 03-18-04 07:43 AM) |
