If you watch the behind the scenes of the movie, the consensus is that it takes place sometime between episodes 20-24. I say consensus because it doesn't seem like anyone really knows. I guess Shinichiro Watanabe didn't really wanna give off any hints. *shrug*

Whoops, I made a mistake. The movie actually takes place between episodes 22 and 23. I originally said after the episode with Andy but that would provide a continuity error. But yes, it officially takes place between 22 and 23.

I don't even remember where episodes 22 and 23 took place. I need to rent the movie AND re-watch the series. The last time I watched it was almost 2 years ago . I actually could watch the last episode at my friends house since she has Direct TV. I forgot a few things but it reminded me of things I forgot

I honestly think its best that there wasn't a sequel to CB, because it'd turn into a somewhat DBZ must train, fights bad-guy, loses, trains more, rescues someone, trains more, yells meaningless phrases, "Final Fight", good-guy always wins or the bad guy wins and they just repeat. Ok so its not exactly like DBZ but somewhere in there you might understand what i'm trying to say. Basically it'd just be a repeat until Spike and Co. died of natural causes or were killed by the bloody hands of a murder.

I also think this is one of the best anime's ever. I also like what the creators of Cowboy Bebop have done with anothe show. Wolf's Rain. Now that show is just Bitchin'.

Spike "died" many times before. It's this unexplainable thing that links Spike and Julia together somehow. Julia is "the woman" who keeps spike alive. Also listen to the story spike told Jet on the Session #26 "Real Folk Blues part 2":

"There once was a Tigerstripe Cat, he died a million times and lived a million lives. He had many owners but he did'nt really care, he did whatever he pleased; until one day, he met a lady cat. They were both really happy together and eventually the lady cat died. The tigerstripe cat was so sad, he cried a million tears; he died, but this time he did'nt come back."

It was a rather big clue that may have been hard for some to find. Spike seemed pretty pissed when he came back on the Bebop to tell Jet that. Then Jet mentions Julia,"So how's the girl?" ... Spike,"She's dead...".

Rather tradgic indeed, I know. ... I have all the episodes and seen them many times on Television and DVD. Also the movie as well, just to satiate my desire for more bebop episodes (which I doubt will ever resume where it left off without crappyness).

Naturally guys tend to like Spike the most because of his cool, care-free attitude toward everything including danger.
But I'd have to go with Edwad Wong Au Pepelu Trivrusky the 4th! If I could replace my little sister, I would go with Ed! Very weird and funny!

After Julia left him and he was nearly killed he felt that his life was over. Thats why throughout the series Spike is always ready for death, because he felt that he died a long time ago.

Funny when Ed and her father meet up and the dad is like "thanks for taking care of my son" and then he looks at Ed and then says daughter.

Hey.. maybe at the end of the movie, he just collapsed from pressure and extreme umm.. bleeding? Maybe he was taken to the hospital or something. I doubt anyone would have surivived that incident though... But a lot of anime does that. You know:: The characters are immortal!! XDD

What Bella said. We watched the Cowboy Bebop movie on the computer when we downloaded it off of Kazaa haha. It was in Japanese with English subtitles. I think Spike's voice sounds weird XDD You know what voice in Japanese I like? Vash's from Trigun XDD lol He sounds weird, but I like ^.^

Hmm..never thought about that Raven. How Spike told him that story of the cats. I guess I never applied it to other things. But then maybe I did and just don't remember. I liked Spike's attitude towards things too though. At least I get things a little better. I need to watch the whole thing all over again including the movie..for a refresher. I actually forgot for a little while there how it ended ..

You never applied the cat story?! Thats one of the most important things Spike says in the Anime.

And he was not taken to the hospital because he star went out. If you dont know what Im talkin about watch the last epispode again and pay attention to the old Native American man.

It's pretty easy to find torrents of the OST on the internet. Other P2P programs would work as well, but personally for soundtracks I think you're best off using BitTorrent. Just google it.

Emule is the best p2p program in my opinion. I can find the rarest crap online fast. I downloaded Symphony of the Night rather quickly, the ISO everyone is begging for. Also, I have no viruses of any sort, and I have kept the program running 24/7 for almost a year. (not constantly, of course)
