Maybe these guys can help

anyway, I think if you place it in a table like <table background="url"></table> it might work. I haven't done this sorta thing in a while.

There is no way to stretch a background image in HTML. You can tile them (repeat over and over) but not stretch them to fit. At least not backgrounds that is, you could stretch it in an IMG tag, but not as a background in a table for example.

Your background looks fine like this (tiled), why stretch it? And like Yarx said, there's simply no way to stretch backgrounds, you can only make them not tile (and then align) ...

I don't mean the BG I use at the moment, it's another pic.
BTW: How can I make them not tiled Acmlm, because I wanted it look like yours, but with another BG.

Mine has multiple layers Tiled red background, and the hills only tile horizontally (aligned at the bottom) ...

And that's done with <div> tags, like this:

<div style="background: url(http://................) repeat-x bottom>
Tiles horizontally, aligned at the bottom

<div style="background: url(http://................) no-repeat center>
Doesn't tile, centered

For multiple layers like mine, use multiple <div> tags
