take what you learned from the tutorial on how to add columns to a full-width page, and extend it to add sub-columns in an existing column. | |||

It's basically 'overusage' of a lot of <div> 'layers' with 'absolute positioning;. That way you can have very sorted source code and it's easy enough to change, let's say, one 'div layer' at a time. | |||

Can you show us a simple outline of what you're trying to make, such as a sample page using tables or even an image with rectangles showing where everything is supposed to go? I have some experience with getting nested div's to behave themselves, but it's easier for me to just figure out how to recreate something than to explain the process. I can point out what everything does afterward, though. | |||

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, you might want to deepen yourself into the visibility attribute as well if you want to have a completely dynamic website. If the attribute name isn't obvious enough, you can make objects, sich as >div<s invisable, and making them appear on command. | |||
