Well it seems this computer (not mine) has this virus. I actually saw it in the Win98 task manager (come on, it's not that hard to hide from ) and found the reg key, but the EXE is nowhere in sight. There doesn't appear to be an AV running on this system, and port 665 is apparently closed. Is this perhaps some lookalike? Any ideas? | |||

Oh, Netsky. Many people are having problems with this one... apparently, it's an un-cleanable virus. Maybe because of the lack of EXE?? All I can think of is clearing the reg key. Also, do a search for any files containung the TEXT netsky. It may help? |
