| It happens tomorrow. My life will go either one way or another. Well, at least the path will be made...the spiral that will lead me to something. Either as a GM or working at another place. Anya the Dreamer: .... Anya the Dreamer: Colleen? Colleen: ? Anya the Dreamer: he's being fired tomorrow... Colleen: You just found out? Anya the Dreamer: yea Colleen: So... what's that mean? Anya the Dreamer: I have to go in at 3:30, for about an hour to be a witness Anya the Dreamer: Means that I'm 2nd in charge and up for the GM spot when Dustin (the GM now) leaves, if I choose to. Anya the Dreamer: and the next two weeks will be hell Anya the Dreamer: tomorrow will be my final day off for a while. Anya the Dreamer: I'm so nervous.... I mean, I'm not sure I have the mentally to do this, you know. I mean, I like to have fun at work and still do what's needed. Yes, I play around and shit, but I get what I need to be done. And sure, I'll slack off from time to time, but now I feel like I have to be perfect with things. Oy.....this is one of those life changing things, you know. |

| wow.... eek and stuff sounds like a bunch of extra responsibilities if you get the job... but would it also mean more money? more money is always a plus  but yeah.... the higher up you go in any company the more responsible you have to be.... doesn't mean you can't have fun though.... don't be afraid to have fun  |

Anya, your job doesn't dictate what type of person you are. Nor should it. You can still be a general manager and have the same fun attitude. Yeah this is one of those life changing things and it's also one of those "get on the ships now before it sails" things. Take a chance or you'll regret it later on. Move forwards, not backwards. And all those other sayings. =) |

| Well, you probably know what you have to do with the job. You can keep the same mentality as before, and still do a good job as manager. But now you just have to drop the "slacking off" bit. Other than that, you should be fine. | |||

| Sofie: That's what Chris' been trying to tel me. Thanks everyone. Maybe I should worry about the next two weeks first. We're going to fire him today and for the next two weeks, there's only me and the current GM, so I might not even have a day off for a while. I'll also tell him that I want to be trained for being a GM, just in case. |
