This is basically here to find out what Adult Swim should toss and what it should keep, anime wise. FLCL and Trigun all the way

Adult Swim begins and ends with Bebop for me. Particularly, the sequence near the end of Episode 5 (Anyone who's seen it knows what I'm talking about) is so beautifully done that it justifies the existence of the entire series.

Though Trigun gets an Honorable Mention for all-in-all wackiness. "Love and...PEACE! Love and...PEACE!"

Oh hells yeah. Cowboy Bebop was great on so many levels. Not the best, but it stands out as one of my personal favorites.

But what I like more than the actual series is the soundtrack. (I'm actually listening to it right now.) The soundtrack was just beyond anything else. I never imagined I would like this kind of music but it went so well with the series.

Oh, and like I mentioned in the other thread, the english voice overs just make me want to vomit. It's SO much better in japanese.

One of my favorite moments from the series is actually what Emptyeye was talking about at the end of episode 5 where Spike and Vicious were fighting on top of the cathedral. That song (Green Bird) just went perfectly with that scene (the one with Spike falling off the cathedral) and made for one of thee most memorable scenes in anime ever.

Oh, and what the hell is Reign doing up there? That's not anime.

Meh... Reign was on the lineup, but was taken down. Can you guess why?

Yeah. Muscular men in nut-hugging tights don't really do it for me. Trigun all the way! I like Trigun for it's action and goofy antics. FLCL 'cause it makes me feel like I'm high, and it's insane to watch while drunk. Believe me, I tried.

Trigun is pretty amazing, but its a short anime. I don't think they should run it all the time.

Now as for InuYasha, still going strong in Japan, a must stay on AS. Even though I have the DVDs and I don't want it on TV anymore, but you get my point.

Hands down, Bebop. It was there during AS's birth, it has stood the test of time because it is superb. It still is, that's my vote, and my 2 cents worth.

Speaking of Bebop, what was the song they were playing during the credits of Jupiter Jazz part 2?

I never watched Bebop on the AS, and now I have the entire series on DVD. I'm on the 4th DVD right now.

(New post color scheme, take 1...let's see if I manage to not break everything)

Part of the fun of Bebop for me was that I started watching during the second half of Episode 3. If you start from that point with no prior knowledge of what's going on, it's literally impossible to tell which side is the "good" one. In any event, it's a great show anyway.

I think Reign is pretty underrated. Yeah the art style is a bit gay (nuthugging suits lol) but if you can get past that it's a pretty good show. It's also not anime style drawing but it is animated in Japan I believe and I think it's quite superb in its own right. Maybe I like it because I'm a fool for antiquity. Dunno. Most of the story is pretty close to actual history (mixed with a bit of Alexandrian myth) but the plot about sacred geometry is an embellishment to say the least. The platohedron eh?

I voted for Reign and Cowboy Bebop. What's wrong with the English dub of Bebop anyways? It's just about the only anime dub I like, to be honest. Most others have really annoying or one dimensional voice actors.

I would say Inu Yasha because of the fact that the series is still going strong in Japan.

What the heck happened to Yuu Yuu Hakusho?

For lack of that, Inuyasha...but I still think people are discounting Hakusho...that anime kicks some serious ass if you haven't been watching it as of late. DBGT isn't doing half bad either.

WHY IS THERE NO BIG O

In the meantime, however, I'll vote for Lupin the Third. Jigen kicks ass.
