I do remember that match, Colleen but you do get what I am saying though. You have to agree with me that Triple H gets way too many title shots on RAW and it is starting to get old. Rico and Haas are the tag team champs on Smackdown? Bradshaw getting a title shot? Rene vs. Torrie? What is up with that? Smackdown needs some better and more exciting storylines from what we have seen lately on Smackdown. |

I agree. I hope Mordechai can help stirr things up when he makes his debut on SmackDown. SmackDown focuses too much on the wrestlers themselves and not enough story to actually make it very exciting at all. I do, however, think they have a good lineup, possibly even better than RAWs when Mordechai debuts. BTW, isn't that at Judgement Day? |

How are they spelling it? I saw Mordecai and Mordechai. Somehow I'm figuring an automatic feud with Taker. (And RAW is much better than SD right now, sadly. Star-wise.) |

And so they FINALLY started teh ECW invasion angle on SmackDown! Colleen, it's spelled Mordechai. Check his info here. SmackDown thoughts? Rico & Haas: Chuck & Billy v2.0 Big Show: Kane v2.0 Rene Dupree: Jericho v2.0 Booker T: HHH v2.0 Good thing that the WWE doesn't reuse plots/characters. Let's hope that the ECW storyline goes well... |

ECW storyline: Invasion v2.0. God I hope not. Elric: Thanks. Don't get SD so I didn't see any of the promo videos. |

You're welcome. The guy playing Mordechai looks a LOT cooler in his promo video (well, what little we actually see of him, and not his robes) than he does in that pic. Since you don't get SD! at all, I hope you at least read the synopsis on smackdown.wwe.com... For those who don't know, the reason I called Booker T HHH v2.0 is because about half way through the show, he came out to the ring, and started running his mouth about how he's the best thing on SD!, the best thing to happen to SD!, how SD!'s gonna become the best show because of him, and other HHH egotistical-type ramblings. Of course, in the middle of it all, the lights dim, a deep-toned gong rings out, and that UV filter is applied. Booker looks like, "WTF?!" and when things go back to normal, he hops the security wall, and runs off. And that should be the beginning of the 'Taker/Booker feud. And that site is a very excellent site. It's how I knew that Rico & Haas were gonna end up tag champs before SD! was even aired on Thursday. I'm guessing that they have someone at the Tuesday tapings of SD!, and they just post the results then. I'll check how things are this Tuesday, and if I see any title changes, then we'll know... On another topic, instead of asking people to use spoiler tags from Thursday night through Sunday morning, I'll just not read this thread during that time. It'll be easier on eevryone, since I seem to be the only one who has to wait 52 hours after the rest of the world to see SD!... |

No, I read the recaps on other sites. I get a more smart-friendly view of stuff.

How the hell did Ren'e end up winning that match at the beginning of SmackDown? John Cena just comes in and starts clearing things up for Torrie and Ren'e suddenly walks out of ringside with his music playing. But hey, you knew he was gonna win, anyway. Stupid Heyman. It was a no-contest. A non-match, to be precise. If a winner's not announced, then there is no winner. That's almost a definite in WWE. |

But Tazz & Cole said that Renee won... But HOW?! There was a NO DQ rule! Cena was legal And those were the shortest matches I ever saw. *rolls eyes* And I won't mention that I called Every. Single. Thing. That happened. Every one of them. And I can tell you right now, At Judgement Day, Cena will lose, and Renee will deface the US title, and make it the French Title. And JBL will win the belt. Booker T & 'Taker will probably have a no contest, when Mordechai interferes. |

...The commentators aren't the smartest people in the world at times either. Eddie is supposed to have a long reign with the title by all accounts, and Layfield won't draw a dime. Eddie retains UNLESS Layfield is a transition champion and Eddie wins it back. |

Wow. Looks like Evolutions downfall has started. Amazing. My friends and I were expecting Benoit to get screwed outta the title tonight, but it didn't happen. Huh. *shrugs* |

Nah, no downfall... I have a funny feeling they go 2-1 next week. (Orton over Edge, HHH over Benjamin, Tajiri over Batista just because that match means nothing.) |

Yes, downfall. That's why they lost 3 of their 4 belts. If Orton doesn't lose his IC belt next week, he'll lose it at the next PPV. And it's about damn time, too. |

Elric's cable company puts it on some other channel, for he doesn't get UPN. Cox doesn't do that to us, though. They only screw Red Sox fans and those who don't care about baseball.

I would. I've been back into WWE since around the end of 2002, and all the SD's I've seen since then have been inferior. SmackDown! Ramblings: * I was actually surprised that Jacquelin won. I didn't think Vince would let a woman have a REAL belt. Especially not the CW belt. I mean, look to the Torrie/Dawn match for Vince's view on female wrestlers. I guess she won because she's so manyly... * I enjoyed watching Eddie kill everyone. Too bad he missed Rene |

My 2 cents on the Big Show infractions-my guess is that they were just making way for Mordechai. You DO know that that little incident involving Torrie's car and Kurt Angle's abdominal injuries was set up, right? (edited by Seph2k4 on 05-09-04 12:11 PM) |

Elric: Actually, Eddie's mom *DID* feel a little faint afterwards but was OK in the locker room. Certainly not a heart attack though. |
