7:00 PM. They have a 5-hour PPV slot but I don't know how much of it they'll actually use, or if there'll be a post-game show. The WM website should have all the info on the storylines and that. |

Vince said it goes off air at 10:45, cable companies believe 11:20... In any event, they booked a 5-hour block. | |||

And here are YOUR. Wrestlemania 20 results. (No spoiler tags, so please skip past the whole post.) Cena/Show (US Title): Spoiler: John Cena takes the US title after two FU's. Raw Tag Titles: Spoiler: Booker T and RVD retain... axe kick/5-star combo on Conway. Jericho/Christian: Spoiler: Christian wins after Trish accidentally elbows Jericho in the face. After the match, we find out that it should be "accidentally-intentionally elbows Jericho", as she turns on him and humps Christian all the way back to the locker room. Evolution/Rock 'n Sock: Spoiler: Evolution wins when Orton RKO's Foley. Evening Gown match: Spoiler: Everyone other than Jackie strips. The match's winners are Torrie and Sable. The real winners? The fans. I think. Maybe. Cruiserweight Open: Spoiler: Chavito retains... erm, CHEATS TO WIN. Pins Mysterio with some help from Chavo Sr. Brock/Goldberg: Spoiler: Goldberg wins, Lesnar go baibai. Apparently a really surreal match, and a really shitty one too. Post-match festivities: Goldberg walks off and flips someone off. Lesnar stares down Austin, flips off the crowd and Austin, and gets booed and stunned. Goldberg comes back in, and Austin throws him a beer. Goldberg toasts the crowd (and gets BOOED), then gets stunned himself. So they put over the only guy who's staying... Austin. Hey, what WERE they gonna do? Smackdown Tag Titles: Spoiler: Scotty and Rikishi retain when Rikishi sits on a Basham. Worm comes after the match. Molly/Victoria: Spoiler: Victoria retains, and true to her word, Molly does in fact get shaved. Not without fighting, of course. And yes, she IS bald. Guerrero/Angle (WWE Title): Spoiler: Guerrero retains with a roll-up. Say hi to the main event, Eddie. Get comfy... you'll be here a while. Undertaker/Kane: Spoiler: Taker wins after bringing back some (not enough, though) of the old school. Benoit/HHH/Michaels (World Title): Spoiler: Holy shit balls, we have a new World Champion. And his name. Is Chris. Fucking. BENOIT. \m/ And how does he win? HHH taps clean as a whistle to the Crossface. After the match, Benoit cries. Eddie comes in and cries as well. Wow. I think I may need to see the main event. (edited by drjayphd on 03-15-04 09:26 PM) |

Just a note about Goldberg/Brock... (spoiler space) ...The crowd PISSED on the whole match. They knew both guys were leaving (although I'm not 100% sold on the whole thing, and I won't be surprised if Vince makes a final offer to Goldberg at least through August), so the chants... BRUTAL. I think poor JR and King had to come up with a ton of excuses for those. Goldberg flipped off the crowd after the match too, so he was kinda pissed. |

Talkin' bout Wrestlemania... Cena/Show (US Title): A very forgettable match, surpisingly. While I generally like Cena, I didn't care for his foul mouth at Wrestlemania. Match actually ended with a Power of the Punch and an FU. Raw Tag Titles: also forgettable, didn't even realize the match had ended at first. Jericho/Christian: Pretty decent match, but nowhere near the "match of the evening" that so many columnists predicted. There was an obvious blown spot, though it didn't affect much. Evolution/Rock 'n Sock: Only way this match could have ended better is if Orton had pinned The Rock. Unfortunately, this means we'll probably never get that one-on-one match. We got to see the Flair Elbow and the People's Strut in this match. Evening Gown match: Oye flippin' vay. I don't like T&A matches to begin with, and I certainly don't want to see one at Wrestlemania. I have to wonder what Vince was thinking (or perhaps what with). Cruiserweight Open: Enh. Better than most of the cruiserweight stuff I've seen recently. I was sort of happy to see Chavo retain, but I really wish they'd get rid of Al Wilson. I mean Chavo Sr. Brock/Goldberg: This match was very entertaining. Oh, not because of the actual match. That sucked hard core. The crowd participation made this match. I'm honestly more than a little surprised Lesnar didn't walk out on it. The audience really crapped all over him pretty much the entire time. Funny thing is, it looks like Goldberg is either staying or coming back soon, and Lesnar is technically only putting his contract "on hold" (since he's got a number of years left in it). I'm surprised that JR said something about the NFL since the WWE hasn't really responded to the "Lesnar leaving" rumor. Smackdown Tag Titles: Better than the other tag-title match. Bout all I can say though. Molly/Victoria: Poor, poor Molly. At first, it looked like they were only taking some extensions off, but they came back later (it took quite some time to shave her) and she was very, very bald. Oh well. It'll grow back. Guerrero/Angle (WWE Title): A very good match. About what you'd expect from these two. Probably regular PPV main event calibur. I doubt the feud is over quite yet. Undertaker/Kane: Enh, I wasn't really impressed. Course, last time I saw the "dead man" gimmick, Taker was feuding with the Ultimate Warrior. Benoit/HHH/Michaels (World Title): I knew it was coming, but after they teased a Sharpshooter on HBK, I thought that was how it was going to end. I could not possibly have forseen HHH cleanly tapping in the center of the ring. It was the match of the night, and single-handedly made it feel like a Wrestlemania. It was... amazing. One other thing, the night began showing Vince McMahon by himself, and talking about how it all began with the idea of the original Wrestlemania. And at the end of the promo, focusing on Vince, it said "And now, with Wrestlemania XX, it all begins..." zooms out to show Shane McMahon holding a small baby, standing next to Vince, '"... again." I just about crapped my pants when I saw how they did that, and it made me wonder if Vince was finally retiring and Shane-O-Mac was finally going to be running the company. Nothing else that night actually indicated that at all, but man... I can dream can't I? ---Evil Peer |

Shane's kid?!? Well, that is kinda surreal... I still have no idea what brand they're going to put Taker on... My GUESS would be SD again, because you have too much to focus on leading up to Backlash - Benoit vs. HHH, MAYBE Orton vs. Foley if he sticks around another month, etc. Would make no sense to trot Taker out there to destroy someone randomly. |

Damn it's been so long since I've watched any wrestling ... I only cared for the NWO, then the Rock was a prick and took his movie career over WWE, and Brock was the Champ or something ... Yes, I have no idea what's going on now in the WWE. |

Couple things I forgot to mention: Ultimo Dragon slipped not once, but twice during his entrance. Immediately after he came out he fell on his behind and then when he went to climb the ropes he slipped off. I'd guess its back to dark matches for him. HBK probably legitimately split his forehead open early on in the match on the ring post. He was bleeding profusely the rest of the match. I think HHH either bladed himself or used some karo syrup. I don't recall seeing Benoit bleeding, but he had plenty of blood all over him from the other two. ---Evil Peer |

That was one of the biggest let down of a match in ages. I was looking forward to it and it really sucked in my eyes. Can't believe they actually...that Molly agreed to get her head shaved!!! Got some news that I'm gonna post for everyone.... Shawn Michaels and Triple H were busted open pretty bad tonight. Shawn was taken backstage immediately for stitches; he lost a lot of blood in the closing minutes of the match. We will have on-going coverage from backstage tonight. The following was posted on WWE.com: Brock Lesnar has made a personal decision to put his WWE career on hold to prepare to tryout for the National Football League this season. Brock has wrestled his entire professional career in the WWE and we are proud of his accomplishments and wish him the best in his new endeavor. Bah...the site just went down again... |

I don't blame them. Regardless of what the situation is, if they're going to piss all over the match FROM THE OPENING BELL, why go out and put in 100% effort? It's sad but it shows how many people read the net. Dragon won't go to dark matches, but he needs to get the HELL out of the WWE and back to Japan. |

I did watch Wrestlemania XX last night and I thought it was great except for a few things. The Tag Team title matches for RAW and Smackdown were boring. I just couldn't watch those matches for a second. Why is Pete Rose in the WWE Hall of Fame? He only made a few appearances and he is in the Hall of Fame. That is a bunch of bullshit. The match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar was REALLY BORING!!!!!!!!! The crowd was booing them because they were both leaving. The only good part of the match was actually after the match was over. It was when Stone Cold stunned both Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. In my opinion, the only good match was the triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Title. Who knew that Benoit would make HHH tap out in the middle of the ring? Other than that, Wrestlemania XX was good but it definitely wasn't the greatest one I have watched. when I first heard Vince starting his whole people crossing over more, I thought he was going to combine the shows again.... instead it's all getting mixed up, which will be good.... it'll be nice to see some smackdown people on Raw and vice versa.... it'll be a nice change from the old monotonous stuff that has been going on the last few months |
