I feel like e-mailing Beulah to apologise for even suggesting that she looked like that woman on RAW. Damn, she's so much better than that. Tommy would have killed me by now... I think this TE contest is strictly between Rhodimer, Puder and possibly the MTV guy, Mezzanin. (sp?) Rhodimer has that edge about him- he seems to get 'involved' with everyone he bumps into to, and he has more charisma than the others. He kinda looks a little like Brock Lesnar, actually- so he should be hired immediately. Puder is definately the toughest guy there, and probably the most able in terms of athleticism and wrestling coachability. While he may not like the sound of it now, he could become a Tazz-style character and beat the daylights out of people with chokes and suplexes, despite his size. He also has a strange allure about him, like when ECW stars started infiltrating into WWE. He's a star in another promotion, so he already has backhistory and fighting experience. Its a tough call between him and Rhodimer. |

To me, it looks like Puder has it in the freaking bag. After the Angle incident, the votes are more than likely going to go with him, mostly for all the same reasons Mr. F-Zero just said. Could Puder be a next generation Ken Shamrock? EDIT: News on the latest release... (edited by Jarukoth on 11-09-04 10:01 PM) |

If Puder's eliminated tonight, you KNOW the vote was fixed and that they were pissed he nearly made Angle tap. Even if they were going to fix it and kick him out (which would be incredibly stupid), it shouldn't be tonight. |

Next Shamrock? Hmm... I think he could be better than that. Shamrock was always too damn angry, and not in the good Taz-style moody way. Right now, I'm thinking... Puder, dressed in UFC wear, with Bill Alfonso (whistling like crazy), commentators silent, the crowd nuts over yet another destruction of an opponant. Yeah, so Fonzie wont make an appearance any time soon, but Puder could lure Heyman over from Heidenreich... he could beat that "Little Johnny" chump any given day of the week. Damn it, this guy is the next Taz! Now lest we hope the bigwigs at Connecticut can see beyond the SD situation and realise there is money in this man.

He's gotta WIN the competition first. Although apparently, rumor has it he's really learning fast in training. My gut feeling is that he eventually has a deal, win or lose. |

Originally posted by Colleen Oh, yeah. Well it's a formality, isn't it? Unless he seriously pisses someone off backstage or he shows some real personality problems in front of the crowd, then its a one-horse race. Only watched an hour of RAW last night, the Simon Dean thing really put me off... i liked his first promo last week but this time it was lame. It was so obviously pre-planned and everything it wasn't funny. He didn't even have any good cusses this week (which is pretty much the basis of his character). |

I think Nova's decent on the mic, but they're going about it all wrong. They should have just done the pre-taped infomercial spoofs and then have him make his in-ring debut. WWE released Linda Miles today to add another cut to the list. Akio and Shannon Moore weren't on SD/Velocity last week or this week, so let the conspiracy theories begin. |

...Well, some horny young adults might disagree with that. No word on Akio/Moore but put it this way; if they're not on SD/Velocity next week, something's up. I doubt they both got injured on the same week. |

When you mentioned Nova, i flicked back to what he looked like in ECW and what he used to do, and now he's Dean... nothing is sacred is wrestling. Not surprised about Miles, I remember on a PPV when she said the F-word... bet the head honchos at WWE weren't happy about that one. And I enjoy Akio wrestle, he's so much more talented than people give credit for. Not only is he talented, but he's down to earth and he has a dry sense of humour that most people don't pick up on. If he goes then he should rejoin TNA- Flyin' Elvis time, again. |

Oh, if Jimmy Yang's released he's back in TNA and All Japan for sure - and he'll probably be happier in those spots too. When your claim to fame is being eliminated from a Wrestlemania match because you couldn't continue after being misted... |

True. And being pushed as a Japanese despite being half Korean... o_0 Watched SD and the rest of RAW... *spoilers* *spoilers* *spoilers* *spoilers* *spoilers* *spoilers* *spoilers* *spoilers* *spoilers* *spoilers* *spoilers* Right, well I must say, the Torrie sex test was pathetic. I hated it and it was a waste of time. I would have preferred some serious stuff and no shit like we got. Kissing Mae Young? Damn. Though it seems Puder is multi-talented. Tonight SD was hot, better than RAW. Its not been quite as bad as I thought wrestling would be lately, what with all the cuts. The Batista angle on RAW looks promising... and shaping up for a Triple H team win, against all odds. On SD we had the intriguing angles of who would be in Eddie's team and also who Chavo's "friend" was, not to mention Taz getting ready to clobber Heyman. I honestly couldn't wait for that, though it was obvious Little Johnny would come out. But the way the lights went, then quickly appeared to replace Taz with UT- so cool. Everything done was great- even JBL did a good speech, and the Orlando-Josh angle was great. That backslap was extreme by Orlando...i love his cocky ways. And Carlito's bodyguard, Heyzeus (sp?) cracks me up. When you see Carlito and Heyzeus you think about hating them, but they're so funnily corny its too good not to like. RAW was less promising, though the Edge Benoit match was quite good. Bischoff seems to have developed a little attitude, which is a nice touch after all his smarmy ways. In general, better WWE stuff than for some time, and a nice buildup to Survivor Series. |

Apparently, JBL will be putting his WWE title on the line in a Fatal Four Way match at Armageddon against none other than... The 3 people he either cheated to beat or had his "houseboy" cheat for him to win him the matches: Guerrero, Booker T, and Undertaker. |

And my guess is that he retains. Doesn't make any sense though... given how all three programs haven't exactly sold a ton of tickets at the box office. |

Guess they couldn't come up with a better climax than to have JBL's title defenses end with Jordan interfiering, thus giving JBL the win... well, that Heidenreich intervention was... interesting, to say the least. Good way to kick off another storyline at least. |

Jordan wouldn't be a factor anyways - someone will probably take him out. 3 faces vs. 1 heel, remember that.

I know that... though Booker just recently became a face again (several weeks notice, mind you), while Eddie and Taker... well, they're pretty much always been faces. JBL never will be in what little might be left of his wrestling career. JBL *could* lose here. 3-against-1? They'd have to have something SPECIAL planned for JBL if he were to retain here. |

Two notes on RAW tonight before I watch... - Apparently a spoof of the MNF opening from last week was planned, they sent out a press release 2 hours before the show. It'll either be really clever or really predictable. EDIT: ...OK, it was cute. - One of the great legends in wrestling, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat was spotted entering the arena tonight. I don't *think* he was going to be on RAW (but I'll find out soon... ) but rumor has it he was going to be offered an agent position. (edited by Colleen on 11-23-04 02:38 AM) |

Not a bad RAW last night. However, there are a few notes.... Spoiler: - Everyone in the crowd was BEGGING for Batista to win this thing, and admittedly so was I. The Benoit/Edge ending was a bit dissapointing, too, yet understandable. - Lawler vs. Flair was actually better than I thought it would be. It wasn't much we hadn't seen before, but it was still fun to watch. - The title match was also a bit dissapointing, but at least Triple H lost the strap, finally. Hopefully they have something good planned for the next couple weeks... |

I guess this post might be considered a SPOILER. Maybe. I would not bet on the title situation remaining confused for very long. I smell a rematch and yet another victory lap for TCH. ---Evil Peer |
