| Hi, I was wondering.. I can't extract the Hero's trainer image from Pokemon Sapphire. Pokepic only does pokemon, and RSBall and Spread only show everything but the Hero.. I've looked through all the programs bundled with EliteMap but I still can't find it. :/ Am I doing something wrong? Is there any way to extract the image? I'm sorry if this has been answered before. I can't find a search function anywhere, and I'm completely new to these boards. |

It's possible in RSBall, in the place where you put the number, put in -14 and click the < button. It does this because the offsets for the graphics are different in Sapphire and Ruby.  |

| Sure, in Pokepic its possible. Pokepic not only does pokemon... you can extract many other compressed graphics also. Open'er up and load the rom. Click on Advanced and in Offset (Decimal), put in one of the following: "Pokemon" sign, must view in 8bpp: 15325388 Pokemon version logo (Sapphire Version), must view in 8bpp: 15331280 Kyrouge + Background: 3748432 -taken from Interdpth's FINE Tutorial  Once you have put in what you want click Uncompress. If it's the Pokemon sign, or version logo, choose DumpRAW, you can view them correctly in TileMolester (This product is NOT endorsed by Michael Jackson ). You can get that here > http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~kenth/tm/ .To view it go to View > Codec > 8bbp linear. For the Background pic, Save As Image. Download this palette to open in TileMolester, www.geocities.com/js13_music/pal.zip , (Palette > Import From... > Another File..., then select the file.) This will work for the Pokemon Sign and Version logo. When your editing the Version logo, be sure to click the button in TileMolester that says Decrease Width untill you can view it properly. It will show up with the right side cut off and at the bottom. To make editing this easier, you can go to Edit > Copy to... and save it as an image to open in lets say, Photoshop or paint and edit. | Do you mean the Trainer Image or the (as I call 'em) Field Sprites (walking sprites) for the hero? In Pokepic, the Trainer Images (front and back) are 15039176 Back of Brendan (Male) 14979768 Brendan (Male) 15042716 Back of May (Female) and 14980556 May (Female). If you mean the walking sprites... Where do you get RS Ball? I really need to edit the walking sprites- I changed May and Brendan's front and back sprites (so Brendan has a normal cap and May's hair doesn't look like antlers (No offense meant, Nintendo and Game Freak).) and the Walking Sprites don't match... Also, I can't find them in Tile Molester- 1. Because I don't have the right palette for Brendan/May, and two- even if I did, every image in Molester while viewing Sapphire uses a different palette, so while one group of pics may look normal in one palette, another all other pictures may look like crap. |

| Open the sprite and look to the side. It should say &H and then 6 numbers. Open the ROM with TLP. If it opens (meaning IF you haven't glitched it permanently), go to the &H thingy, minus the &H and in Hex. Then, you'll see the sprite... You know, look at the sprite, look at the Graphic box, and look right. To save you the trouble: Rayquaza: 3532B8 Groudon2: 3529B8 Kyogre2: 3525B8 Regice: 352DB8 Registeel: 352DB8 Regirock: 352DB8 (all the same???) Groudon: 3529B8 (dormant image?) Kyogre: 3525B8 (dormant image?) Latios: 3501B8 Latias: 3501B8 Other sprites: Zigzagoon: 3536B8 Pikachu: 353838 Azumarill: 3539B8 Wingull: 353B38 Azurill: 3542B8 "MOM": 354438 Nuts!
