I haven't heard any news of them ever since that... Stuff about some gaming journalistic... Website, did some research on them and their owner which seemed to suggest that they barely existed and were some kind of PR stunt for the owner to trick investors and then just mooch their money. Or something like that. Now, E3 has come and gone, but did Infinium Labs even show up? What's the latest news? Anything? I just find the whole situation amusing, so... ^-^;; |

Yes, and Penny-Arcade saw it. They still hated it, though, so all is well =D Hell, Infinium had some stickers up that said Guile, Trickery, Flim-Flam, and Chicanery. See? (edited by Cymoro on 05-20-04 05:08 PM) |

It's going to fail, horribly... if it exsists that is. XD Notice that the room in the picture is empty, and that the office for Infinium Labs where empty when somebody checked it out. Or it was something like that... |

It has potential... Too bad the CEO of the company is a total fool. |

I'm hoping that when they show off the finished version, the CEO will hold it up, and someone will be like, "Turn it on!", and he'll be like "Um... No " | |||

Hey, they actually showed it and are using AMD chips for it. Woo-hoo. Of course, the problem is that nobody's going to want to pay that much for a "console" when they can just buy a PC which can be easily upgraded and can do so much more aside from running games. |

You have to pay to download games, wtf? Well, that kinda makes sense. Lord knows companies like EA wouldn't just let Phantom users download their whole library for free. There'll be a selection of free games and some that are P2P - but I doubt they'll charge full store prices. |

I like how they're trying to keep it secret. I remember that someone tracked Infinium's address and found out it was a Mailboxes Etc. or something like that. But you guys are right, it's probably gonna suck. |
