Those prices are absurd. Parents won't buy them for their kids because they can't afford it. Teenagers and younger adults won't get them because they're way too expensive.

Those are worse than the release of Xbox

I dont see how its that bad, GBA SP was $150-160 here, so $200 for a DS isnt too much more expensive....

I choose the DS. I love the two screen idea and the fact that you can play all GBA games on this one makes it a winner all the way!

What the hell is a PSP?
I know what a DS is, and I will definitly want to get it. Doubt it, because, as Weasel said, it's just ridiculous. Plus there's nothing there that makes me want to rush out and get it, you know? Like how GCN had Smash Brothers.. I mean, great features are tempting..

PSP is Playstation Portable(where have you been???) well the only reason I am getting both is because there are features that both have that are cool, and I would like....otherwise i would get the PSP, im more of a sony person then a nintendo person, since I never really played nintendo as much as I did PS1....

DS: The official declared price, as said by Nintendo, was $150.
PSP: Sony is saying that it will cost roughly about $250 and up. $300-$400 was the estimated cost for all the features, and that was a few years ago.

The prices that major retail outlets give are always an estimate for them, and not what the manufacturers announce. Sony and Nintendo announced theirs (see: my post), and Gamespot and EB are freaking liars.

Playstation, for the most part, was horrible. Why would I want a portable version of old games with crappy ass graphics? If I was a playstation fan, that'd be something, but I only like a few games.. DDR being high on the list.. portable DDR..
