| I MUST WARM EVERYONE NOW, IF YOU TRULLY FEAR THE UNKNOWN TURN AWAY NOW, DO NOT READ ANY MORE. Ok, so in the easrly 1980s some russian scientist were digging a 9 mile deep hole to study plate tectonics. The reached a large caven and their drill began to spin wildly. The cavern was actually over 2,000 degrees fahrenheit. Now it gets scary. In an attempt to record the plates moving, they sent a mircophone down there. When they listened to it there was a lot of strange noises, they ajusted thier equipment and were horrified to discover that noises where actually the sounds of millions of voices shrieking in pain.......Ive heard these sounds....and ill never be the same.... I dare not search for the web site I downloaded the sounds from. But I dare ANYONE who thinks they are brave enough to search for "Sounds from Hell Hole" on Yahoo, and find the file. Listen to it and reply. *rocks back and fourth in a dark corner* Youve been warned..... Haha, it have been proved fake.  http://www.snopes.com/religion/wellhell.htm Yes, we know that any number of web sites offer audio clips purporting to be the screams of the damned as recorded in the Well to Hell, and all of them sound like they could be the noise from a typical bar on a busy Friday evening. And after listing on that, well it sounds more like a public baths with somes screams added. |

| Realplayer? No thanks, I'm trying to avoid spyware. I've heard this before and instantly knew it was a load of BS. First of all, that story doesn't make any sense. When I read it, they were drilling to make a well. If that's the case, why were they drilling NINE MILES into the ground? And why did they have microphonoes? Of course the drill went crazy, it hit an air pocket. As for the 'screaming' it sounded nothing like that at all. (I found an MP3 version. ) At 2000 degrees, what did they expect to hear? Heat escaping through the new hole, lava bubbling, rocks breaking, maybe even the microphone melting.Not to mention, there's just no way hell would be a mere 9 miles into the Earth's crust. |
