After zooming in to 800% and getting a good look at them, I can say two things: 1) JPG IS BAD. 2) It's white. Unless you want to post a PNG [or GIF] and show otherwise, I'm leaving it at being white. JPG is for photographs, not screenshots. Arrgh... |

No, it's NOT a PNG. It's got a PNG extension, but it's really a JPEG. Changing the EXTENSION does not change the TYPE. Arrrrrghh... |

this is the adresse to the pic: Edit: As Xkeeper wished, the adresse is removed... The end is PNG. And in ZSNES, it says that the screenshots should be in PNG format so it should be PNG. (edited by RapTop on 06-12-04 08:48 PM) (edited by RapTop on 06-13-04 04:57 AM) |

MSN might've changed the format, then. Because it is MOST DEFINITELY NOT PNG. THE END IS "PNG" BUT THE IMAGE IS IN JPG FORMAT. ARGH. Anyway, ... ugh. I could put up a BMP with a JPG extension and show you, too if you need further proof, take a look at the image at high zoom levels. It's fuzzy and wierd. That's JPG. PNG would look EXACTLY how it looks in ZSNES/SNES9x. Oh, btw; REMOVE SOME OF THAT IMAGE URL. IT IS STRETCHING THE TABLES. Tables look fine to be, though that may be thanks to 1024*768 resolution. And auto-uploading to groups tends to do weird things to pictures. My personal favorite is uploading a GIF to Yahoo! to find out its auto-small picture is about 100K MORE than the full-size one. DOn't think I've ever had it flatout change the format though.... |

Well, so it's no-good taking PNG screenshots with ZSNES then? | |||

Originally posted by RapTop I've never tried that, but you can do this: Press ALT+Print Screen to save a snapshot, then copy it into Microsoft Paint, and delete all the blackness around the frame. That's how I made my screenshots. |

Originally posted by ToadeeboyOriginally posted by RapTop Ok, it takes more time but if the shots get better then I'll try it... And just to keep ypu all up to date on the demo, I need to complete 4 levels, 2 switch palaces and 1 castle and then test it, test it and test it before I release it... |

I noticed that, if you take a png using snes, the image looks too bright, like in SMA 2, so i usually just take a bmp shot in zsnes and convert it into png using paint |
