| I had a dual-boot WinXP and Linux system running on my PC. I decided to free up the space Linux was using as I never used it much and removed it from my system. Of course the bootloader grub remained and refused to boot my WinXP partition and simply came up with Error 22. This means I cannot use the PC at all, which is a bit of a hindrance.... any help out there? | |||

| Boot off the WinXP CD Recovery console fixmbr That should do it, if not, there's another fix command (fixboot?) that might work. |

| In the end I fixed it with my Win98 Bootdisk, by using fdisk /mbr... thanks anyway! | |||
