I don't recall Nintendo releasing any releases dates for their "next console".

Seems like they have already done quite much in the game. They hadn't revelead how long time they have been working on this game now.

And I don't think they release it for their next console. You know the "next console" maybe dosen't even come before year 2006.

Hey, finally a Nintendo game that's not made for children, and it's about damm time. Ever since the N64, most of the games have been made for the younger mind. Which is fine to have some games made for children, but not 90% of them.
Anyway, I've been waiting for them to make a Zelda game like this for a long ass fucking time, and the're finally doing it!

Ocarina Of Time looked like it was going to be a realistic looking game (by the kind of story line it seemed to have), the early screenshots looked nice, but when the game actually came out, it was as if they redid the entire thing.

I rather say all ages than Children...

Honestly, there is somewhat mature games that Nintendo also have made. Majoras mask had quite high age rating for a zelda game...

Two Words: RESIDENT EVIL. Ever hear of it? No? Well, play it, and see why it fucking rules.

EDIT: Okay, it may not be a Nintendo game, but OoT was. It seems remarkably similar to the "New Zelda".

Besides, Resident Evil was still for the 'Cube. So, I fail to the difference beside the obvious techicality of it all.

(of course it did, because somebody must have thought it was a good game and in an age range for older people because Nintendo decided to create it in the first place, so obviously somebody must have thought it was good [and they must have been on a lot of crack]) Everyone I know that was about 14 and up said it sucked, and I definatly agree with them

Um, right, then I guess your telling me that those are the kinds of games you enjoy playing a lot (I would say something else, but I don't go out looking for people to flame. Also Cymoro, you need to calm down there, you don't need to throw a fit just because I don't like your favorite games, I'm only stating my opinion). The only people that I saw play Majora's Mask more than once or twice were my little brother's 7-10 year old friends.
(I played through the game once, and after that I messed around with some GS codes, but that's about it)

I'm not literaly saying that every game Nintendo has made since the N64 were made for children (maybe 90% was too much of an exaggeration), I'm just saying that there was a large increase in them (a little too many), and to be honest, I was quite dissapointed with Zelda OOT and Majora's Mask (not nearly as much with OOT as MM). Yes, they were fun to play a couple times, but I really don't think the story plot was very good (OOT's plot was alright, but MM's sucked).
MM's main story was to collect as many masks as you can so you could stop the Evil Giant Moon from crashing into the Earth, now tell me that's not a childs game. OOT was alright, but the early screenshots of it made it look like it was going to be a lot better.

Another game that really sucked was DK64, ( if you say that game was good, then I'll have to reach through the screen and slap you, ... if I could )

I enjoyed playing Perfect Dark, that was of Nintendo's better games, and was very challenging.

Jarukoth:
As far as Resident Evil goes, I've only played it a couple of times and it didn't really catch my interest, and I know it was quite the opposite childs game, but neither was it that fun to play, at least in my opinion. Another thing that drew my attention away from it was that a lot of the wierd kids at my school were (the dumbasses at the school) always obsessing about, so ... I hardly gave it a chance (a lot of these people would always obsess over the stupidest games just because it had blood and because you could kill people, so it was hard to tell what was actually a good game or not when it envolved an extensive amount of killing ... without actually playing it for yourself). I did mention that I had played it a couple of times, but I had only played it for maybe a half an hour to an hour while at friends house many years ago.

I agree they could use more games like GTA, but the games they have now are fine for all ages. I'd just like to see more bullets flying and heads exploding.

OoT was probably the best game ever, even if it was really easy (and that's just relative to the rest of the Zelda games, there are certainly some hard parts to it). I couldn't stand WW, the levels were just annoying. Hard is good but there's fun hard and frustrating hard. Having to figure out a way to reach something or open a door is fun. Waiting inside a barrel for ages to sneak by a guard or trying to throw a pot full of water at some fire snake thing only for it to fall into the lava and come back to life is just very, very frustrating. (I managed to destroy a Wavebird on that one. ) Not to mention, this is the first two levels.

Long story short if this game's like OoT, I'm getting it.

How do you suck at life. Start making more sense from now on.

Also, did you actually beat all of Perfect Agent mode and unlock all of the Cheats? Or did you just go through the easiest mode and decide to quit after that .
Also, I don't spend my waking hours playing shooting games so I'm not the best at them, and I'm not trying to be either.

I think the Game Cube was a big improvement over the N64, but I think that they've made some very impressive improvements since I saw screenshots of this new Zelda game that thre're working on. I don't what is the big deal is with you people, I'm not a big fan of the N64, so what, who fucking cares . Anyway, go whine to someone else, cause I really don't fucking care. Nobody is ever going to like everything that you do (I'm sure there's plenty of things I like that you hate).

I could diss on you back for not liking Perfect Dark (it wasn't like THE GREATEST GAME ever made, but it was good for its time, especially since Nintendo was releasing stuff like Diddy Kong Racing, DK64, Banjo Kazooie (and its sequal), MegaMan 64 (AKA MM Legends, it wasn't childish, but it wasn't very impressive either, but the rest of the MegaMan games are really good), Star Fox 64 (the one for the SNES was really good), Toy Story 2 (hmm, I really wonder about this one , that should be too obvious), Wargods (it wasn't childish, but it still sucked), Hot Wheels: Turbo Racing (take a wild guess ,and no, I never bothered to even try it), Hey You, Pikachu! Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo Kazooie were all made by Rare, the same team who made Perfect Dark.

Have you even PLAYED Majora's Mask? That is possibly the worst description of the storyline I've ever heard. Do you know the intracacies of the plot? Do you know WHY Skull Kid wanted to destroy the world? Did you SEE the final boss? Did you understand what the Fierce Deity Mask was? Did you understand what Inside The Moon was meant to represent?

And I think less people would be inclined to find your views offensive if you didn't say things like this...

And use that as meaning that 'oh my god, the only people who like this game must be children, because I've only seen kids play it!!'. What a pile of rubbish.

Majora's Mask was a much more difficult game than OoT too.

And no, Perfect Dark wasn't that hard.

What DOES count as a non-childish game? Perfect Dark? Perfect Dark has a dumb plot. Save the world from aliens. Resident Evil? Fight zombies. Wow, deep stuff. O.o'' So, they have blood. So what? My 10 year old cousin plays Perfect Dark, he's the only one I know who plays it (other than myself, and I play it less than him). OH MY GOD!! That must mean that it's a game for kids!!

Face it, virtually all video games are childish. Just play the freakin' games and enjoy them and stop thinking 'oh my god, if I play this game, I'll look like a little kid!!'.

Wake up call. You play video games, you're already considered a bit of a loser by alot of society.

Personally I like Majoras mask more than Ocarina of time. Mainly becuse it was little harder than Ocarina of time.

That's my philosophy on gaming. Even if stuff bothers me, I'll still play the game. And I still manage to have fun.

Let's see.. what to start commenting on.. And excuse my ramblings ;;;

I can't remember the difference in difficulties of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. I know that I've beaten Goldeneye, but I didn't beat the final level in Perfect Dark. No wait.. I did.. I just couldn't beat it at a higher difficulty... Well, anyway, I'm not the best FPS gamer. If you start giving me stuff that makes me feel more in my element, then maybe I could play better (Think that was Metroid Prime..)

I loved Majora's Mask. Though, I probably like it for the same reasons people hate it. I loved the concept of time. You get to see what people do on a daily basis. You witness life, and kinda interact with it. I also enjoyed the storyline, though I didn't care much for the fact that it was kinda.. mysterious-like and dark...

I don't see how hard it is to sneak by in a barrel by some pigs. Sure, it would've been great if you could do some kinda stealth kill, but that sneaking parts of the game shouldn't have taken that long. Could've killed a minute or two everytime you run into the sneaking parts. Or trying to figure out a way to take that fire snake on.. With some thinking, a plan could've been thought of. I don't see it as cheaply hard.

Then again, maybe I shouldn't be saying that kinda stuff.. I mean, I have been playing video games for almost two decades. And I don't mean casually playing games, like being dragged to play something. I'm talking about actually taking the time to kick the game's ass. Super Mario Bros. showed me the world of platforming. Rad Racer showed me how to race. Sonic the Hedgehog taught me how to be reckless but still be able to do good (to some extent ). Street Fighter II showed me to try to figure out all the moves with my character so that I'd be able to whomp the other guy. Super Mario 64 introduced me to the 3d world. Now, I can safely say that those games (when I first played them) were hard for me. But I was persistent enough to beat those games. And I played more games like them, and I started getting better and better in certain genres.

Persistence and patience... It helps keep a controller alive

Y'know, if I was still a little kid, I would've been very peeved if they started churning out a lot of games that are meant for mature audiences. "Link looks kinda realistic with beautiful scenery and graphics, with great gameplay to back it up, and I can't play it because Link is a sixteen year old?" "Wha? Mario's gunning down Bowser with Snifits, and there's blood all over? Another game I can't play...". If I was around ten, I'd be saying that stuff. If I was like... uh... six, I would just be sad because I can't play another game

Why would you guys still be trying to talk to me when I said it was my last post? Are you looking for a response, or to make me see things your way? I'm not going to see anything anybody's way, so quit bothering me about it (your getting nowhere)
Ok, this is my last post, after this, I'm not even going to consider looking at this thread again (because I might get tempted to reply again).

Um, who said that I was trying to persuade anyone to think the way I do, it kind of seems like all of you are trying to make me agree with you (I don't care what you think, just let me have my own opinion without trying to tell me that I'm wrong, what is the point; anyway, I can't be wrong because it's an opinion, nor can I be right). As soon as I mention that I didn't like some previously made games, everyone starts trying to tell me that I'm wrong, so it really sounds like you guys are trying to persuade me to think your way (I never said you guys suck because you like them, or even directed it towards anyone, I simply just stated my opinion because I really liked the new Zelda screenshots over many of the other games that Nintendo has made in the past)
I think that there were a lot of games that were good on the SNES and NES, but when their sequals came out on the N64, I didn't feel that the games had the right kind of balance between a mature audience and a younger audience, it seemed to have dropped a bit towards the younger people. Yes, I did enjoy many of the games that were made on the N64, but I never play them anymore because they have a little too much of a childish aspect to them (there are others that aren't childish at all, but they are too short, so it makes them get boring fast. I also I'm talking about the game play level when I say that they are for younger audiences, I found that too many of the N64 games were easy to beat, games like Mario 64 for example, it was fun and I enjoyed playing it, but it was too easy, and collecting so many stars wasn't keeping very entertained. Mario 64 was fun for a while, but it's prequals were mcuh better).

Also, I think that Perfect Dark was a bad example, I mostly played it because it was good for Multi-Player, but I had to beat the Solo Missions to unlock many of the things for Multi-Player (and your right, the story on that game wasn't that great, but that's not what I really played it for). I also have played Golden Eye, I agree the story was better, but I felt that there was more stuff for Multi-Player in Pefect Dark (and the as I stated above, Multi-Player is what I mostly went for).
Another game that is good mostly for Multi-Player is Super Smash Bros. Playing the 1 player mode too many times gets very boring (It's the same thing over and over again).

Trashykins & Kirbynite: Why do you assume that I wouldn't play a game because I'm afraid of what other people will think. Where did you come up with that (of course, you must have been assuming without giving it any real thought about it ). I don't care what other people think at all, if I did at all for any reason, I would probably be sucking up to you guys to try to make sound like I was mistaken (oh, please don't make fun of me, you might make me cry , , fuck off, I don't care what you think).

If I'm not interested in a game, it doesn't mean that I'm afraid of what other people will think (I clearly mean that I don't like it , is it that hard for you to comprehend what I'm saying, if it is, then you seriously should think about learning english some more, a lot more).
I mean exactly what I say.

Well, with that said, I'm acually leaving this thread now, so going don't bother posting anymore responses to me directly, because as I stated above, I'm not coming back to this thread to post anymore replies (nor am I coming back for any other reason), so you won't get a response back. Just talk among yourselves, quit trying to bother me, it's not working (you should probably just continue talking about the New Zelda Game, since that's what this Thread was created for to begin with). BTW: (sarcasticly) I'm so sorry for making fun of your favorite games, I didn't know that you all were such sensitive people, I didn't know that video games meant so much to you, I'm sorry that I made of your only life's purpose. Suck it up, stop crying over somebody not liking your favorite kind of games.
