| I was playing football with my brother and some friends yesterday and my idiot brother threw the ball at a moving car and broke the wind shield. So now my mom has to pay for it and we're not going to be able to go on vacation this summer. Im trying VERY hard not to strangle the crap out of that little idiot! | Was it an accident or was he blatantly trying to throw the ball at the car? And that sounds like a weak ass windshield too. Either that or your brother has one hell of an arm. And why can't the person's insurance pay for it? |

| yeah really, I would think the insurace would cover the broken windshield, or the person is too cheap to get insurance, but I would think the windshield wouldnt rbreak from a football, was it made of rock? lol | |||

I really wonder what type of ball he throwed. I mean the windshield on the car I use have actually gone through alot of stuff. Without a scratch.  I have two annoying sisters myself, ever if they are the most annoying thing in the world.  I still like them... |

| First off, isn't it totally illegal to drive without insurance? Might be different where you live, but I know it's illegal in Canada. Check it out, the fella might have to pay for his own windshield. Accidents happen. Otherwise, maybe your brother could become his slave for awhile? I have a brother who broke the window of our van with a rock, when he was specifically instructed to stop throwing rocks near the van. Of course, he didn't listen, and one of them flew backwards, breaking the back window. It was fixed... eventually, and out of my brother's money, but it was still pretty crappy for a while. But I don't like my brother, anyhow. Even when he's not breaking things. So maybe I'm not one to talk. |

| The ball didnt break through the windshield it just cracked the hell out of it, but the windshield must have been one of the cheapest ever. My brother cant throw for crap, he claims the wind blew it off course but the fact of the matter is that the ball shouldnt have been through at that time at all. Why didnt they insurance cover it????!!!!!!???? *runs to his mom* |

If they don't, then you still shouldn't pay. It's their own fault for not having any in the first place. That's the whole point of insurance, for things such as this. If they insist you pay, tell them to take it to the police. Have them explain why they don't have insurance.  |
