The fact that he said 'a real Zelda', when Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask are the only Zelda games to use 'realistic' graphics means you can't really trust what he says...

Wind Waker was most definitely a real Zelda. It harked back to the style of A Link To The Past; the king of the Zelda games. Plus it was damned fun to boot.

I still think Zelda 64 was LttP in 3D (it had many of the same puzzles). But anyways, the first 5 games of Angel's list aren't popular for the gore, they're popular for over-hype and for their prequels being excellent titles.

Does that make it any less odd that he apparently creamed his pants?

You take things to literally moron, it was just a way to say I was excited. And yes Fyxe alot of dont see Celda as a real Zelda game. I found it to be a joke and way to easy to boot. While OOT and MM were quite fun and were realistic. And dont compare Celda to LTTP. LTTP is in its own category away from a piece of trash which is WW.

I really hate to make references to banned idiots, but "LET'S POSITIVE THINKING!"

Yep. I may have taken it literally (not really ) but your reaction to it was far more disrespectful. And um... Wind Waker, I admit, it wasn't the sexiest game graphics wise, but it was hella fun still. Sure, not as fun as OoT or LttP (and yes, they are the same practically, DD), but it was still a good game.

1) Be more polite
2) Don't go nutzo just because some people like a game you don't like
3) MM wasn't the most superba of games either
4) What the hell was Hitler holding there, anyway?

Either or, the new zelda game is going to be the savior to the gamecube in the console market.

As was OOT to the 64.

...actually, the N64 was doing pretty well from the start, considering how many people bought SM64... now...

Hes holding a watermelon, and at the beggining the 64 did well, then PSX picked up speed and PS2 came out and since then theyve been walked all over.

And this is all because Nintendo said no to the SNES-CD or something with Sony.

Then again, lots of people who say that are the ones who think that graphics make the game. Riiiiiight.

I thought I was gonna miss the cel-shading look. But then I saw the footage, and it felt like one of those dreams I had. I'm gonna miss the cartoon look, but I won't miss it if they abuse the graphics correctly in the new Zelda game

Spoiler:
triforce collecting at the end... not that fun IMO . The tresure finding also kind of got repetive... at least for me . It was fun at first but after fishing the 20th treasure in the water...

And I so missed riding the horse. Intresting that Link attacks other enemies while being on the horse.

Realistic? People exaggerate how 'realistic' Ocarina of Time was. And I can't believe you're saying Majora's Mask is 'realistic'... Come on, a giant moon with a face? Masks that turn Link into different creatures?
People also exaggerate how easy Wind Waker is to Ocarina of Time. OoT was one of the easiest Zelda games, bar a few moments (Dark Link, for example).

A joke? So far I believe your only reason for calling it a joke is because of the cartoony style. And I can't believe there are people out there who still regularly call it 'Celda'...

The graphical style is why it's similar to ALttP. And also, it was BEAUTIFUL. No, it wasn't realistic, but people would be fools to say the graphics are BAD. They most definitely are not.

You can call it Celda all you like, that doesn't stop it from being a proper, major Zelda game. And it doesn't change the fact that the new Zelda game is being made by the same people who made Wind Waker.

Zelda has always had a cartoony style. A Link To The Past, Link's Awakening, the Oracle games, even the original Zelda; these are all cartoonish in style. If you're going to complain about Wind Waker, complain about it on a gameplay level, rather than it's style.

Also, Kitten Yiffer, I'd just like to mention that I think the horseriding in OoT is very overrated. Yes, it's fun, but you can't really DO anything. You can get to places a bit faster, but that's about all... Hyrule Field in OoT also counts as one of the blandest areas in a Zelda game.

But now that Link can use his sword while on his horse... And fight stuff. That's much more interesting.

Heh, you're right. None of the games are realistic by any means, really. And I wouldn't say OoT was easy... it actually had some good moments where you had to use your brain. More specifically, the dungeon where you had to use the floating boots, and the dungeon where you had to fight Twinrova (yes, those guys were a pain in the ass). Dark Link, after you got the pattern down (took me 2 minutes), was actually pretty easy. This is assuming you mean the Dark Link in that one temple in the clear room with water on the ground. (It's been forever since I touched OoT, I forget the names of places)

No argument there.

I'd say that's half true. Some games were certainly more cartoony than others, as well. OoT was less cartoony than most of the others. LttP was more cartoony, for sure. Great graphical style, though.

w0rd. I'd like to see how they fit that part into the game well. And about Hyrule Field, I agree. That one area of the game may be why I like LttP better than it.

Now, Angel, it would seem that you should've just spoken for yourself, and not Fyxe as well.

Heh, but I liked Epona. She was... cute in some way. I still remember the first time when I "rescued" her...

But I always wished some extenstion to the horseriding, and this zelda seems to add it. Seems that the field is bigger now, and hopefully not as bland as OOT was. (but hopefully not to big, Wind waker's world were to big sometimes for me... )

I didn't find Wind waker that hard either, but then i'm so used to the 3D zeldas before so... I at least hope that they add a "hard mode".

Best part about Wind Waker was near the beginning: the Forsaken Fortress. I love the reconnisance-type thing you did with hiding in the barrel. Same thing kinda with the Gerudo Fortress in OoT. I hope you get to do something fun like that in this new game.

The DS is sounding better and better every time I check it out. Super Mario 64x4 sounds like a pretty fun little game. I gotta say I like the PSP better overall but ill definatly switch up my GBA SP for a DS.

I just saw the video for Legend of Zelda and it was a great as I would have imagined it to be. The quote "swords will bleed" made me tingle.

Still no KH2 media though but the shows just getting started. Im still having hopes as to seeing Mario 128 also.
