I must say, the new Zelda is draw droppingly gorgeous. It's about time. These are some of (if not THE) best graphics I've seen anywhere. And the Gameboy DS has N64-ish 3D graphics? Holy fucking shit thats great! I just have one gripe though: with 3D games, where's the analog stick? I don't wanna feel like I playing a PSX  . |

| Mmmm...Nintendo DS..... *drool* Nintendo DESERVES to have a monopoly on the handheld market. Nobody does handhelds like Nintendo. Wow, so far I've heard GREAT things from Nintendo, some O.K. things from Sony, and....well....Microsoft seems to be doing a pretty poor job of jacking up gamers like everyone else there. | I'd actually rank the press conferences as follows: 1) Nintendo 2) Microsoft 3) Sony I dunno... Like I said to my friends, Sony could have still shown more on the PSP if they're serious on taking over the console market. MS had its flagship titles and the EA announcement to carry them. |

| As I said earlier, I hope the Nintendo DS isn't that expensive. I want two... er my sister also want one. The price is a big thing when it comes to handheld. Alot of kids buys GBA's, if they are over 200 dollars... not many will buy one. Hopefully it will be around 100-150 US dollars max. I'm not surprised why Nintendo did make something new now, they are trying to compete with PSP and they are probably also trying to release it before PSP this time... |

| PSP? Normal? Has anyone seen the thing? It looks like something very futuristic, like from Minority report, oh and whilst Mario 64X4 looks pretty impressive, .. Fest your eyes on THIS Baby MGS Acid I'm oretty torbnn between the two, I think I might get the DS to indulge my gamesplaying desires, whilst the PSP will take pride of place next to say, an Ipod and my 3G mobile phone. I I have to say I'm dead impressed with the new Zelda, Oh and ANIMAL CROSSING IS COMING TO EUROPE!! YYEEEESSS! All is quiet from Squeenix though apart from the FFVII Prequel, but I won't get excited about that as it looks like a Japanese exclusive. I was hoping for more news on FFVII:AC |

| The only game I can think of that you guys got in a fair amount of time is GTA: Vice City. It was released here on the 12th of May, 2k3, and then released in Europe on the 15th... all the other GTA games took months upon months though... why IS Europe the last place everything goes, anyway? | |||

| Becuse so many games are made in US maybe? Maxis is another company who is good on quick release, I remember that there were only days of diffrence between the US and the European release of Simcity 4. Yes I am a Simcity fan. Simcity 4 was one of the few games I actually did go and buy on the release date. And I should get a newer GTA, I have been playing GTA and GTA 2. And I loved them... I should get a newer version. |

| Because of the whole PAL issue I'd take it. Plus a lot of games end up going through translations before seeing a European release - French, Spanish, Italian, etc. Depends on the game. And some are "censored" - Ninja Gaiden (Xbox) received a few changes. |

Sometimes games get's censored in US, but not in Europe. Nintendo did that once with a NES game.  The PAL issue isn't fully true, basically you can convert a NTSC game to a PAL 60 hertz mode easily. The Zelda bonus disc was 60 HZ only... (NTSC is always 60 HZ BTW) The translation part dosen't apply to me, all console games here are in English. They usually come with a language option but I never use that one... But SSBM get's wierd when you choose German. |
