I could mail you a copy if you want me to.

I haven't seen any release date info yet, but hopefully it'll be before next summer.

Well they're releasing a 30 minute preview of it in time for the Venice Film festival (in Sept) so we'll be able to see some then.

It won't be a bootleg, it will be the actual DVD.

Anya, we use NTSC, they use PAL.

And I'm not waiting until January, I'm downloading the fansub as soon as I possibly can.

That cell phone game will only touch a small amout of people worldwide; knowing that, SquareEnix announced during a recent interview in the japanese magazine V-Jump that they were working on a third project for FF7, all that without telling us any release date or in which format will it be released. However, they said that the project will be revealed to public in a short delay of time. Could it be at the TGS 2004 ? No one knows for sure... The best we can hope for is that they finally make a follow up to FF7.

...........

"A theatrical release for Final Fantasy VII Advent Children may not be entirely out of the question, Square Enix president Yoichi Wada told Impress Game Watch recently.

Alongside last week's announcement of the movie's screening at the Venice International Film Festival, Wada said that in addition to the already-announced DVD and UMD releases, Advent Children may also make its way to customers through digital downloads or in movie theaters.

Delays in the development of the computer-animated Final Fantasy VII sequel appear to have given Square Enix the time to explore other avenues of distribution. Originally planned for release on DVD in Japan this summer, the film's release is now simply scheduled for some time this year."

Info found here

Wow....wonder if this just means in theatres only in Japan, but world-wide as well.

PS. New screens can be found here

My mistake but they look similar from the side...

Could that girl be Tifa's daughter?

Or it could be Barret's daughter, since this is only two years after the game and Tifa didn't have a kid during the game, so the time frame doesn't match for that kid to be her daughter.

And I think Tifa looks more like Rinoa (FF8) than Yuna.

Most FFVII fans assume the girl is Marlene who is Barret's adopted daughter, the film is only set 5 years after the game and that kid looks a little old to be Tifa's daughter.

"The story takes place two years after the end of Final Fantasy VII. The planet has become a peaceful place, industry and cities seem to be in ruins. However most of the surviving people have been affected by "Star Scar" syndrome (or Seikon-Shoukougun in Japanese)."

It's two years, not five.

She doesn't look a lot like Marlene though. I dunno, I'm still not convinced.
