I'm still just baffled on how Sephiroth comes back, unless it's another clone or something like that. Other than that I'm praying this movie is far beyond anything compared to Spirits Within ...

As far as Im concerned, I dont consider The Spirits Within a Final Fantasy.

But man.. When IS Advent Children coming out... and the remake of FFVII?

Unless you have strong evidence ...

The remake of FFVII was a rumor taken way too far, even published in PSM magazine. But I can tell you 100% that it was a rumor and was never confirmed by SquareEnix to make such a game. Although I've heard rumors again, that FF Advent Children is supposedly going to be packaged with "a game"?

I don't know about rumours and all, but one thing that gets me thinking is the fact that Square-Enix.co.jp has a page for DVDs, and FF7: Advent Children is alone in the top corner. Which should mean that there will be other DVD movies after this one.

The Spirits Within was an O.K. movie, but it had nothing to do with Final Fantasy.
It wouldn't have bombed (as hard anyway) if it had a different title.

The hi res trailer to Advent Children has me wanting the movie something fierce!
I'm hoping that there will be no Tifa involved in the movie....

It had better come to Europe, or the Square offices are going to have a *very* unhappy girl camped outside. It all looks good so far. I'm really glad Vincent's going to be in it, and even though I'd probably watch it subbed, I hope he gets a half-decent English VA.

Well I've heard similar, and heard that it'll be a remake of FFVII.
Still, like Chickenlump said I'd like evidence. As of now I don't believe it. Advent Children is a movie, nothing else as far as I know.

According to a press release, FF7 would take another few years to re-engineer the system for a remake. If it's a re-release, then that'd be something all together different.

I downloaded the Advent Children trailer on Bittorrent. Holy Sweet Ra was it cool.

FF7:AC will be on a DVD and not attached to any game.

Now I heard the rumors of remaking all FF games for the Ps2, but I haven't heard anything but rumors as of late.

How can you say that Spirits within had nothing to do with Final Fantasy? Dude, that green swirly thing was practically ripped right off Final Fantasy 7's CG animations And hell, let's "save the planet" from a sinister force that's draining it of life... please, if it's not Shin-Ra it's a bunch of alien ghosts, same difference

and is the trailer on any squaresoft pages so I don't have to scour kazaa to find it?
