| You see whenever it's a nice sunny day and I am on my nice, prehistoric computer and I'm sipping my nice, cold drink and I am at nice, new Acmlm's Board and I enter a forum and I sometimes see OFF, which ruins my nice, preaceful day. Well, no actually, It's not as hippy-like (word?) as that, but I think there should be some sort of difference between these 2: When I see an OFF thread, I immediately assume that stuff like flame wars and stuff have happened there. However sometimes this is not the case. Sometimes it may have been closed by request. So, if they had both a CLOSED and an OFF sign (or something like that) it would make my nice, happy day and I would give you a nice, hearty thanks!  |

Well you need to stop assuming flaming went on and stuff. We're not ALL flamers.  Usually, if a legimate thread gets closed, most of the time it's because the thread was closed via request. If flaming went on, the thread would probably be trashed as well. |

| Well since we're on the topic of fun little graphics near threads.... do we have hot topic graphics for those threads that have achieved lotsa posts? It's pointless, but it gives it a little more colour than those drab dreary grey "OFF" graphics. :-P ...actually, I just realized we do have "HOTNEW" graphics... but they're kinda ugly. lol, any chance you could spice it up a little, Ace? Or at least make it more of a HOT colour instead of this tangerine thing you got going on? :-P |

OFF ... closed ... it doesn't matter  I'm also used to see (and closing by myself) threads showing  Anyway the word "Closed" would take up far too much space in that font size in /off.gif |
