| Smithy. Smithy was harder. In M&L SS, I could beat Bowletta in one hit and Cackletta in a few hits. (Mario and Luigi were level 44, Mario with that thing that doubles damage given and taken, with all the items that increase stats depending on how many mushrooms you have, with 99 mushrooms in my inventory.) | |||

| Smithy was just a pain in the neck.... Cackletta was just plain easy. After a couple tries, I figured out a way to royally beat down on her. Smithy is always a challenge to finish. | |||

| Both were easy. Suriviving Cackletta the first time around though can be tricky since you only start with 1 HP. The ending to SMRPG is better than in M&L IMO. So, Smithy gets my vote. Although, if we had either the Smithy gang or the Cackletta gang as the options, I'd go with the latter because... I HAVE FURY!!!! Fawful is teh 0wnz, let's face it.  |

| I choose Cackletta. Smithy was just trying to show he could really "take over the world". Cackletta actually had some NEW mission. Plus, she had... Oh dear, I must resist....he was so funny.....oh....aahh I HAVE FURY!!!!!!!! ...whew... That being said, I do like SMRPG better than M&LSS..... |

| I vote for Cackletta... She had cooler-looking attacks and was funnier. Also, she has Fawful. And Fawful has Fury. Therefore, Cackletta gets my vote. |

| Though both are pathetically easy when you've beaten Mario RPG 8 times, (One time only fighting in battles you HAD to fight) Paper Mario 7 times, and M+L: SS 5 times (2nd time without changing pants, 4th time without changing pants OR badges, and 5th time just MASSACRING the game and beating the final boss in 3 attacks)...Um..Where was I...? Ah, yes. I like Smithy more, just because he was a Squaresoft villain, though cheesy. Besides, he made the Axem Rangers and a huge sword, man! Sure, Cackletta has Fawful, but that's it. Fawful was WAY cooler than Cackletta EVER was. Culex is indeed the hardest and funnest, but if you come prepared, he's still fairly easy without teh Lazy Shell, which isn't a trick- it's just cheap. Besides, you have to know how to get it, anyway. Stock up on Rock Candies, and Culex is a breeze. I've beaten him before without Rock Candies AND without the Lazy Shell, and he's certainly defeatable. Getting two thirds of your invetory full of Rock Candies takes patience, though. Or, ya know, save up some Red Essences, as well. And yes, the music BEFORE you beat Smithy's final form is better, I think, though the other is OK. | This ISN'T about who is more evil or who has a minion who says I HAVE FURY! all the time. This is about statictics. Smithy HP: First Form:2000 'True Form':8000 Attacks: First Form: Sledge,Hammer,Bullet Arm 'True Form': Too many to mention. Cackletta HP: First Battle:200 Bowletta(Cackletta in Bowser's body):500 Cackletta(inside Bowletta):1200 Attacks: First Battle: Black Hole,Split into 3,Lightning Bowletta: Fire Attack,Flarets,Star Rain Inside Bowletta: Giant Ball,Fire Spinning,Lighting Orb,Arm Windmill,Time Freeze,Engry Ball(Heart can heal,Head can enhance attack power) With total HP combined of all forms, Smithy has 10,000 and Cackletta has 1,900. Smithy could be able to counter Cackletta's splitting move by using Sledge. A lot of the other attacks can be countered with a hammer(which Smithy has). But, a disadvantage that Smithy has is that he CAN'T JUMP. This is a very tough choice when the stats are put into play. Hmm. Smithy could win if he doesn't go to wizard head in true form(takes most damage). Otherwise, this is easily a win for Cackletta. |
