| City Schwa stumbles back, confused. The glow on APH has faded away. "I don't know for sure, but I believe this could involve more than me, my brother, Yorra, Yiusi and Dracoon." Ruins "There's a fork in the road here," Yorra says. Sure enough, he is right. One path is a curved, downward ramp, one is a straightforward, downward staircase with torches. "All roads lead to the city at the bottom, as long as you travel deeper. This fork looks like both paths lead deeper into the ruins, so they should both lead to the city. However, I don't know how long each path is, or what kind of enemiesa and traps inhabit them." Yorra reaches up and lifts the injured Yiusi off his shell. "You take Yiusi. I trust you to reach the city at the bottom. Here we can split up, since they both lead to the bottom, but you can choose first which path to take. Be careful of dangers, no matter what. Good luck." |

| "I think there will be more traps to the center path so since I am smaller I should go that way. It will be easy for me to avoid any traps." Dracoonx4 takes Yiusi and dashes through the center path toward the city. Going as fast as he can he runs into the first trap that seems to have sharp stones flying out from the walls. Dracoonx4 jumps and blasts his way through this without Yiusi taking a hit, but he has about 20 sharp stones sticking into him. |

| OOC Nice description, Dracoon, but who's narrating the story??? Ruins They're not just flying rock traps. The path ahead consists of a small balence beam about 24 feet across, with spikes below it. When Dracoon steps onto the beam, an arrow whizzes in front of him, barely missing him. OOC Now that we have things straight, describe how you get across. Yorra goes down the curved ramp, but after a while of walking he hears a rumbling. "Run, Yorra," he tells himself. The rumble is a boulder chasing him down the path, gaining speed. |

| OOC I know, but I just wanted to do one thing I didn't say he made it out just that he made it through one trap. "Oh great another set of traps. I better be careful." Dracoonx4 jumpes onto the beam dodging the first arrow, and as the other arrows start to come he jumps and ducks his way through them. Being careful about not letting Yiusi get hurt Dracoonx4 now has arrows sticking from him in addition to the rocks. He makes it to the end of the balance beam and almost collapses from the pain. "No I got to keep going. More then one life is at risk here." |

| Ruins Yiusi seems to be trying to say something. "Dracoon... why don't you... pull out the rocks and arrows? Please... it pains me to see you in pain..." The next area is a cylinder-shaped room with a low ceiling and sand as the ground. There's an old lever on the wall ahead, and it still looks operatable. | |||

| "There is no time it would take to long." Dracoonx4 pulls the lever and charges his gun thinking that something will happen, but it isn't going to be a very good thing. Dracoonx4 turns his whole body to speed mode since he thinks fighting right now would mean death for Yiusi. |

| "NO! Please, Dracoon... I'd die just to see you endure so much. Don't worry about me." As soon as the lever is pulled, the sand begins to drop, slowly. It's sort of like a sand elevator. "While I was teaching Schwa in the etheral dimmension, Dracoon... he was... teaching me, too. He told me that pure souls never die. I can't bear to see you in pain... after all you've done for Yorra..." Yiusi looks too tired to talk anymore. | |||

| Once the sand is finished emptying from the room, a passage is visible. Instead of a city, a long, curved-to-the-left hallway lies ahead. Yiusi seems to be silently saying something, but she's only mouthing the words. City "Perfect. The Buster Beetles are waking up," Schwa says, disturbed. "I'll do my best to drive them away from the city." His hands flare up with ether flames. It's amazing-- even while he's fading out of existance, he's willing to fight and defend something important. But he soon realizes the Buster Beetles are flocking out of the city and headed toward the distant Grassland Ruins. "You're not going anywhere, rampaging drones," Schwa says. With that, he focuses and wavers out of existance. He appears right next to the ruins enterance, which is sealed at the moment. "Let's see... Yiusi taught me a few portal tricks... here we go!" Schwa holds his hand up, and the ether flares up and surrounds the sealed enterance, making it transparent. He then walks right through the transparent enterance and casts another ability; 8 blue wisps appear and guard the outside enterance. "If they attack the ruins, those wisps will fight back." Finally he restores the seal and dashes down the ruins hallway. "Gotta find Dracoon. Gotta find Yorra. I sense that Yiusi is too weak to send me a portal. C'mon, Yiusi... you can do this. Hang in there." |

| "Got to keep going." Dracoonx4 dashes through the passage hoping for no traps. He goes as fast as he can putting the rest of his energy to stress. "I don;t have much energy left, but I can't rest. This is crazy, but there is no other way." Dracoonx4 keeps dashing hoping for the city to appear real soon. |

| Schwa takes a secret passage through the wall, hoping it's a shortcut. He finds 3 Pansers instead. "Ha. I can't be hit by normal attacks when I'm in the etheral dimmension!" Schwa blasts each Panser with an energy ring, felling each of them. He then continues down the passage. Dracoon is running as fast as he can when a huge monster lands in front of him! It has a huge, black shell and is about 4 or 5 times as big as a Buster Beetle. But it doesn't attack. "S'okay, Dracoon. I'm Yorra. How's Yiusi?" Yiusi answers. "I feel... better... more energy flowing into me... but I don't know why..." Then Yorra, Yiusi and Dracoon all get a telepathic message, from a familiar friend... "It's me, Schwa. My condition is healing; that is, I'm not so covered in static and transparency as I was before. But things are bad. The Buster Beetles are coming to attack the ruins soon. I summoned 8 Psi Souls to guard the ruins, but with their sheer numbers against us it won't hold for long. I'll meet you in the city, where I can heal Yiusi with my psi powers." The voice fades away. Yorra sighs with relief, knowing Schwa is okay. "Okay, let's head to the city as fast as possible. We're almost there. Please hang in there, Yiusi..." |

| "Never give up, Dracoon," Schwa's voice says to Dracoon. "You've made it." Suddenly the dark hallway ahead of them reveals a glistening, wonderful, futuristic city. With waterfalls, fountains, beautifully carved crystal and marble buildings, and a few peaceful Buster Beetle statues, the city seems like a paradise to all living things. Yorra slows down. "It's been a long time since I've been back here. Here, Dracoon, take Yiusi to the center of the city where there's that circle inscribed on the ground." Right in the middle of the city, a transparent figure covered in electrical shortouts waits for them. It's Schwa. As Dracoon approaches with Yiusi, Schwa's image seems to get a little brighter. "Hi, Dracoon, you made it. How's Yiusi?" |

| Dracoonx4 took Yiusi to the circle and put her down gently. He then turned around and started heading back up the passage. "She will be fine if you hurry, but I have to stop the buster beetles. I don't think I will be returning so be careful." Dracoonx4 took off down the hall way at a much faster dash. He was a blur going back through the tunnles and toward the exit. He reached the exit without a problem and rested his energy to let it repair for a little while. "Good luck Schwa." |

| "Here you go, Yiusi. Etheral Mending!!!" (echo effect) Schwa's etheral hands change from blue to gold, and surround Yiusi. She opens her eyes and stands up as swirls of gold encircle her and her body starts to glow. "Schwa! You healed me!" she says happily as the swirls begin to die down. Yiusi is now in perfect health, and Schwa is no longer transparent or covered with static. "Well, in a way, you healed me too," Schwa replies. "I'm going back to the etheral dimmension now. Yorra, you have a destiny to fulfill." Schwa does his signature pose, as a portal opens behind him and he vanishes into it. The first of the Buster Beetles have now reached the ruins. As soon as the first Beetle throws it's white block at it, one of the 8 wisps starts to morph. After 6 seconds, it has morphed into a strong-looking, crablike warrior about twice as big as a Buster Beetle. The crab starts picking up stones and chucking them at the crowd. The Buster Beetles attack the crab with their White Blocks, but each time one of them attacks, another wisp morphs into a crab. Soon, there are 8 crabs throwing large stones at the beetles. They seem to be holding the beetles off pretty well, but just how long can they hold? Meanwhile, Yiusi opens a portal to the top of the ruins and she and Yorra travel through it. Soon they'll be at the top... |

| "Come on hold them off for a little longer." Dracoonx4 was at about 50% strength and was charging his buster. He started pulling out all the arrows and rocks with his other hand and soon nothing was in him and he just had a lot of cuts all over him. He kept charging just incase the ruins became swarmed. |

| Yorra and Yiusi appear at the top. "The Buster Beetles are winning!" Yiusi exclaims. "Why would they want to attack the ruins?" Yorra jumps into the fray, ready to do some damage. But as soon as he lands on the ground, all the Beetles turn away from the crabs and rush Yorra. "No! Turn away, Yiusi, don't watch..." The Beetles start slamming him mercilessly with their projectiles. Even with his amazing shell, he can't hold forever... |

| Dracoonx4 jumps into action changing his gun to rapid fire mode. He jumps above all the buster beetles and right over Yorra, then he shoots his gun down, but it seems to be hitting everywhere around Yorra. As Dracoonx4 falls he brings out his energy blade and starts attacking any buster beetle left standing, but they counter attack and he has to do dodging then attacking. "..." Dracoonx4 remains silent as he fights for his and Yorra's life. |

| "STOP!!!" Yorra screams, roaring like a dragon. "Why do you all wish to have me killed?" The Buster Beetles stop fighting. One walks forward and speaks in a reptile-like voice. "Yorra, you know why. YOU are the reason we're condemned by all living things!" Yorra stops right in his tracks, surprised. "Explain." The Beetle responds. "Ever since people saw you, they've been scared or upset at us for existing. You freaked them out! Because you're so intimidating! So, since people think you're scary, they naturally think we are the same way. In fact, humans and others never showed us any prejudice until about 900 years ago. When you were born, if I'm not mistaken. Right?" The other beetles agree. Yorra is shocked at this. Despairing, he looks to Dracoon in hopes of a wise reply. |
