im starting with PHP, i know how it works and all, i tried adding a new feild in memberlist.php for admins to veiw the IP instad of going into each individual profile to check. Could anyone help me on AIM about this. I added the table and but couldnt seem to get the power level thing to work.

I assume you mean the -column- ???

anyway.... all you have to do is update the SQL query to grab the last ip and then use $user[lastip] or whatever the field is in the SQL....

Yeah like Erk said, just use that to grabs the users IP. Remember to make it a admin only function.

ive got it in the table but when you go in as a non admin the tables screw up

cause you have the "<tr>" inside the if isadmin code

so basically you have to print the TR always anyway.....

tables are fine when you are an admin, but when you are a guest, the user picture takes the place of the Last IP box, and the IP still doesnt show up.

EDIT: I got it, i put the column in normally so everyone can see it, but we have a code in there that only allows admin to see the IP if you are a full mod or lower it says, Sorry, you need to be an admin.

you can do it but the first person in the list goes up on the line of EXP and stuff. and by common sense i didnt want that. If i could make it right i would but i cant. Only one day of coding aint bad.
