YD, how do you like the looks of this? It's ready for me to make into HTML. If there's any changes you want made, or anything you want added, tell me.

I'll make the other layouts soon (Mighty Kefka, Lilmario, and whoever else requested).

PS Jesper - Just wondering, how goes my wootest layout...?

That's pretty cute, I like the repeating background. I just want the upper whoeverthingie (I don't know the names of them) to go behind the layout instead of infront, when the little part of him is infront, you see that he's cut off, if you put him behind the box, it'll hopefully look like he's coming up from behind the layout.

Yeah, does looks better that way, thanks. BTW, how easy would that be to code in CSS and make it look like it does pixel-by-pixel compared to HTML? I'm really thinking about trying to finally learn CSS this weekend Jiz. And the dude is called Tails.

Pixel by pixel?
It's not that hard to code in css, you just got a few divs for the wrapper + checkered background. For the Tails chars, for the box, etc. Not hard at all, it takes a few more layers if you want that border though since that border can only be achieved by cutting it into several pieces like corners, sides, etc.

Maybe someone can help me with this. I hope so.

I want to know if I can keep this Zoidberg picture, but have it not "cut off" like it does. So if I had a smaller post, it'd post the whole pic, but if my post was longer the pic would be at the bottom, with black above it.

Like this:

Post with little text----***
-------------------------------***
-------------------------------***

Post with large text
Post with large text
who likes pancakes
I surely do! ---------------***
And I hope you do too!***
Let's go eat!---------------***

If you can picture that. And don't get the wrong impression, the text would still overlap the pic, like it does now.

Yeah, that'd rock if I knew how to do that. Unfortunately, I don't.

FF style RPG lavout, blue, with every board stat, auto-updating, blue, with an RPG-style font.

P.S. Nobody said anything about my previous P.S.

My advice is that you shouldn't use a scrollbox over a normal stretchable layout, use it only when you have to. Sure, you may think it looks so spiffy because you care about it so much, but we generally don't like scrollbar layouts.

I didn't have a thing against scrollbar layouts before. But a LOT of the people currently using a scrollbar layout here are using one while it isn't even necesary. Not to forget, having a HUGE layout on top of that just so a specific image always shows up (Kasumi's layout, yes it pisses me off).

Why, just WHY do people fill their layout with dumb scrollbars why they could make their layouts 'stretchable', so it doesn't add stupid scrollbars NOR it needs a huge layout even for 1/2-lines of posts.

Forte, PM me and then email me the images, and I'll host em for ya

EDIT: um, ditch the scroll bar on mine. I would actually prefer on my layout that you have all the things I asked for, but make it so you don't have to scroll to see it all.

You mean like this? If so, then you just use the TABLE BORDER and TD html codes.

EDIT: Made it look a litle nicer, and used the WIDTH variables in the TABLE BORDER

Hm... I got this far, and I like the layout. But, I'd like to make the table wall thingys to be images. How do I do that?

@ Mighty Kefka: You forgot the TR html command.

@ Anyone who wants a simple table: For a basic table, the coding would look like this (without the spaces):

Put this in the header:
< tableborder >< tr >< td >

This goes in the signature:
< /td >< /tr >< /tableborder >

When using HTML, don't make a new line for each command. In notepad, as a general rule, it should only take up one line. Oh, and something with a modified width would be like this: < tableborder width=50% > You can put any percent after the width= part, unless it's above 100%. You'd close it the same way as normal, though. Hope this helps!

<tableborder>? That doesn't even exist ... it's <table border> and you close it with </table>

As for using image for the table border, there's no simple way other than using a table cell for each corner and side, and putting images in each ... or maybe it can be done a little more efficiently with some CSS background tricks

This is a request for a layout. Simple but, its better then nothing.

Can someone put a box for text on the left side of the layout and a space for an image on the right, which is Neo.

http://www.geocities.com/angeldudex/postlayoutbg.gif - backround.
http://www.geocities.com/angeldudex/neo.gif - right picture.

I don't think you need that to make a simple box like Geno has.
