| Armored for tournament and with potion vials, recently topped-off, dangling from his belt, Callean Silvershield of the Order of the Motley Unicorn emerged from a thick grove on the fringe of the grassy region. His closed-faced helmet was already upon his head, and he held his sword and massive shield at the ready. "Hail, Jin," he firmly announced, his voice muffled by his headgear. The knight lifted his weapon and proclaimed, "Lay on!" He charged. |

| Not an expert with magic but no stranger to it, either, Callean recognized his opponent's apparent arcane buildup. The knight did not approve of free use of ranged fighting techniques, but Jin's altitude left no choice: Callean grabbed his dagger, a backup weapon, from his belt, and tossed it end-over-end at the hovering Wind Master. | Jin saw the dagger coming and threw a gust of wind at it, deflecting it straight back at Callean. Nice throw. "Tornado fist of doom." And imediately Jin flies down at super-sonic speeds, and just before it comes close to hitting Callean a lightning charge hits the fist giving a major boost of power to it. | |||

| Half-expecting his own projectile to be hurled back at him, Callean was quite prepared to slap it away with his sword. The dagger stuck into the ground around a dozen feet away. Callean saw no options to avoid the fast-moving Jin, so he crouched low to the ground and, shield in front, braced for impact. |

| Jin stopped just in time, however the lightning in the tornado fist was unleashed into the ground. "Nice defense." Jin then flew up and started spinning both arms. And as he spun both arms, a huge thunder storm was created. As lighting started to hit the highest targets, Jin created a wind barrier to protect him from, and to absorb, the stray lightning bolts. | With little protection from the savage elements aside from the meager magical equipment he wore, Callean tried to ignore the raging storm and instead concentrate on his target. The paladin used Jin's preoccupation to recite a spell of protection; he instantly felt energized and eager. Having a few moments to spare as his opponent continued to summon Mother Nature's fury, Callean reached for and quickly downed one of the several potions strapped to his belt. The final drops hitting his tongue, the paladin blinked and then vanished entirely from sight. |

| Though he had a feeling that Jin might be bluffing, Callean decided to take offensive action and surrender his invisibility and, in the process, perhaps get a surprise attack. Moving slightly that he might attack from a different location than that which Jin last spotted him at, the knight lunged aggressively with his sword. |

| Hiei sensed his movement so he decided to do a back flip. After his flip he landed right behind him. *Fist of the mortal flame.* His fist became ingulfed in flame and he charged forward. | Callean could do little to maneuver and block the attack, but years of heavy combat had instilled in him some degree of faith in his armor. The paladin hardly flinched as the strong steel plate turned aside Hiei's attack, suffering little from the heat. Having few options, Callean waded into melee once again. He made an effort to distract his opponent's defenses with a quick feint, and then moved in to bash with his shield. |
