| Definitely Anima of FFX fame. Pain! Honorable mentions: FFIV Titan Leviathan Bahamut FFVII All Bahamuts Wow, FFVI is probably my favorite and I basically never used the Espers as summons. What the deuce?! I can't even picture what Raiden looks like at all. I liked some others, but I cannot remember most of the names. Jumbo Cactuar, ummm...there was a King Tonberry or some such in FFVIII, right? Doomtrain was alright. As was the Diablo/Hades or whatever in 8. |

| Yes. We all did. Less than a month...not much activity on these boards so I believe the "clutter" is quite reasonable. | You know what I also thought was neat? Pandemonium from 8. Sure, it wasn't too strong, but I thought it was still excellent to watch it vaccum up my foes. Plus, it was one of the few actual wind attacks in the game. | |||

| You know, I look back on all the FF games I've played and one particular one stands out in my mind. Carbuncle. That's right. Not Shiva, Ifrit, Bahamut, or any of the MEGA powerful ones (eden, magus sisters, anima, etc). I just like Carbuncle. The summon for it in 8 was just so cute that I wanted to rip my eyes out. Plus, reflect is ten kinds of good against a magic using monster...as long as you have potions to heal yourself with. |

bahamut the platnium dragon is awesome....though odin is equally cool the best norse god (maybe short of loki).efret is cool but there is an extent to his power  knights of the round for pure power.... but all time favourite is probably alexander from ff 8...the kind of castle titan.looks do damned powerful. |

| Anima from FFX, was a great one; however ALL the Bahamut ones surpass him by a lot. Eden from FF8 got to be a long long long summon to watch too.. And who can forget Ark from FF9?? The good thing about FF9 was the option to view the summons partially.. That was a great feature. Otherwise in other FF game you had to watch the summon ever and ever, even if it was the 100th time you had summoned him... |
