Yep, I almost always procrastinated for my homework too, usually doing it the last day before it's due ... but at least I always ended up getting it done, so all was good except the occasional lack of sleep At least I have no homework this winter/spring and next fall, just work |

I can tell you from experience: DO NOT SKIP SLEEP! You may be awake for the first three or four hours of school (I'm not sure about your schedules...but that'll be 2 periods for me, on a 4-period day), but fall asleep in the last periods. |

Hah hah... despite what your TV might tell you, that's... er, not true. As a very, VERY loose rule of thumb... maybe. It's more the reverse... people who WILL be in burger king at age 37 are probably more likely to drop out of school. It doesn't follow the other way. |

I've perfected the skill of last-minute homework now. Its a very useful skill to have. I used to arrange my homework by its size and do it in breaks, registeration or even other lessons.

I never did any of my Writing homework last term. I kept putting it off and couldn't complete it in time because it was mostly essay homework and stories, which I can't do in one night or a few hours in the morning or during classes. I ended up failing the course because of it and losing two of my credits

Last fall, I had my GunBound addiction (played a few hours every day), procrastinated for homework (but always got it done), didn't study much (just a bit before exams and that's about it), often only had 6 hours of sleep per night ... and what were the grades I got? A+, A+, A, A+, A+, for a GPA of 4.24 (max is 4.3). (and it's funny, because I was expecting lower grades, like A- or B) And then you see other students who work hard and study overnight just to get B's, because they aren't as skilled ... sometimes it's almost unfair |
