| That would sort of force players to buy batteries for their controllers... I don't like that idea too much. It would make a neat alternative to the console, but I don't like that it would be the only option (good god are batteries expensive nowadays!). I do like the gb/gba port though. But......where's the system carrying handle?  |

| One interesting thing on that factsheet... Backward compatibility with the GameCube. I'd want to wait for, you know, more concrete info... but if Nintendo ever went with "Nexus" as their next name, then props to them for picking something cool. |

| It's bollocks, and I'm actually glad it's bollocks because it looks crap. Honestly, what the hell. It's more garishly ugly than an Xbox. Big letters telling you what it's called and where all the ports are? Horrible 'plasticine grey'? With WHITE bits? Ew. And what the heck's with those freakin' 'landing pads' at the bottom? Ohhhh, and ugly, ugly buttons to press too!! ...It's a poor render, and I'm surpised people were fooled. The name is very un-Nintendo-like (nice 'logo'), the console itself is bad looking and the render is low quality. The only thing it's got going for it is the disk drive which is actually pretty poorly designed as it looks like a big C for no apparent reason. Looks tackier the more and more you look at it. |
