It's been out for a while here, and I've seen it being used a couple of times, and I think I tried it for like a minute, but I don't really remember. Seems like a novelty to me.

It really is a novelty, but I absolutely LOVE the Groove game for it. It is just like DDR, but for your hands.

They have it on demo at the Future Shop downtown... but people usually just pass by it and look at their own likeness on the screen.

So yeah, it's considered a novelty more than anything I'd imagine.

Hehe, Eyetoy. Well I have no PS2. But it's probably one of the first things I get if I ever get an PS2.

I have seen alot of people that look like idiots when they play Eye toy, it's so amusing to watch other people playing it.

And it's fun, I tried it once myself.

If I could ever pick it up for cheap (like 30 or less, probably) I decided that I would.

And when they had it set up at Best Buy it was fun watching people be stupid. This one kid kept hitting the screen cause he thought he was supposed to, then the Best Buy guy came and yelled at him for fucking up their giant 50" TV

Now THERE'S some supreme idiocy for you. XD

50" TV... Broken... Ai ya, I'd hate to see the bill for that.

Luckily the Eyetoy demo here is shown on a TV that's 7-8 feet above the ground. The point gets across.

You may think it's a novelty, but with Sega Adventures and Harry Potter: PoA announced at Eyetoy Compatible, as well as the two original game, it now caters for more games than the SOcom Headset, so which one is the novelty?

Plus Nintendo seem to be working on something similar to Eyetoy.
