Actually, I think it'd be pretty damn cool if we got together and sorta made an Acmlm's online gaming group. We could play Starcraft on the weekends or something.

Of course, not necessarily Starcraft, it entirely depends on what games we've got.

So... What games do you have?

Rules:
- All maps used will be official Blizzard maps included in the latest version of the game
- We will attempt to balance the teams in the best interest of fairness and fun
- No hacks, programs, scripts, bug/exploit abuse, or anything else that could be considered "Cheating"
- Nothing will be considered "cheap" - All units, abilities, and upgrades are fair game
- If you are about to die, say "I concede" to all players to give up and not be destroyed
- Once you've given up, you can watch, but can't rebuild

I have alot of the Blizzard games, so I could play one of those. I can also easily get my hands on other games.

We'd have to find a game that alot of people have, or atleast a good amount of people.

I'm starting to see some good possibilities already

The online games that I own and would suggest to anyone:

Battlefield 1942
Warcraft III
Starcraft
Unreal Tournament
Quake 3
Half-Life and the various mods for it (Counter-Strike, Natural Selection, Day of Defeat)

If there's a huge and overwhelming want to play one of the games not on that list, I'll probably just run out and buy myself a copy of it.

The Blizzard games are probably the best-sellers in that regard, but there's a lot of free stuff out there...

Of course, if CD keys are required then you NEED the original, but I've seen SC/Brood War packs for $19 at stores here.

Also, there are no need for CD keys, payment, nothing like that. There are tons of places you can get it from.



But I like that list wite.

Only, I can't play half due to comp, but it's a good list nonetheless.

I have all CnC games, expect for generals. I would like to play some CnC against somebody here...

And both Diablo games. I also have that expansion for Diablo II. But I don't play Diablo at all... heh

(Although I'll probably end up buying the originals when they're on sale, so...)

If you can't play Warcraft 3 on Battle.net I can set up a LAN mask thing where we can all connect to. I played with Jizuko and Yarx and several of my other friends this way.

Colleen, if you mean to say that the CD keys you have are generated or in any way not straight from the back of a War III cd case, they won't work online

I'm thinking about scheduling a game of Sarcraft at the moment, since that seems to be pretty popular. What do you guys think? Yea or nay?

EDIT: Or we could consider Havok's idea...

Well, the rare one does actually. There's been reports of people buying the game, going onto b.net... and finding out that they're locked out.

I remember when they banned several cdkeys for WC3 but it was due to players cheating.

This sounds like a really good idea, setting up a group for the weekends.

wite, I have every single Half Life mod so we can play that.

And I have Starcraft and the expansion but I kind of....suck.

Oh, and I restarted Diablo II a few weeks ago if anyone wants to do that. I'm still low ass in level.
