I'm almost sure that this site was made to proove a point. That point being that with the proper words, you can make almost ANYTHING believable to stupid heads. (For lack of a better word.) This kind of goes along with the DHMO thing. People will read something and believe it without actually thinking or analyzing what they just read. And if this wasn't their point, then I don't know what is. EDIT: 2 plus 2 equals 4 damn it. Some should know what I'm talking about. Referring to an old thread. I've never actually read about Idaho, just ate the potatoes and took a load of Tetley Tea there once with my dad way back when. I think that's good enough for me...or IS it?

For those of you who remember the "Therefore God exists..." thread of old: I learned about Idaho in Social Studies in, like, 4th grade. I see it on the map. In the store, they are called Idaho Potatoes, not Nonexisting Land Mass Potatoes. Therefore, Idaho exists. |

What? There is a state with the name idaho? But if you would ask a typical Japanese or French schoolchild about what he/she knows about Idaho, you will usually get a blank stare. People who are much better at geography than Americans have never heard to this "great state." Oh yes, I doubt that every French or Japanese know all 50 US states. I don't know them... Yep, I think it's like you said Legion. |

Forget Idaho, we need to focus on the Dallas, Texas mystery! This point was brought to my attention by a co-worker who used to work on a phone campaign calling Dallas. Dallas, Texas, of the United States of America, is trapped in a space-time anomaly. There. Proof? Just call someone in Dallas; listen to them talk. Aaa... Per-son... Frum... Daallas... Weill... Talk.... Reeaaal.... Sloow... Liike. And just look at their political advancement! Studies1 show that modern day Dallas is not a very far cry- in terms of technological advancement, nor sociological advancement- from the Wild West, circa 1880! In fact, any form of advancement in Dallas, Texas is merely brought there from other places in the United States of America! You think clocks prove anything? A clock can be built to run at any speed; the ones in Dallas, Texas are simply built to run extra fast just to give the appearance that Dallas, Texas is running at normal speed! Be warned! Don't go to Dallas, Texas unless you plan on staying a LONG time! 1 These studies were conducted in extreme secrecy, and the exact findings have since been destroyed. Don't let this fool you! The studies existed! |

I don't know whether to call you all Dan Quayle (he was a fucking moron too) or ask what the hell a potatoE is... a pot and toe? I know a potato is a very lousy excuse for a dinner filler unless mashed and covered in gravy... IDAHO DOES NOT EXIST JUST LIKE WE NEVER LANDED ON THE MOON. Score! |

It was Potatoe and Tomatoe. There was one puzzle game that accepted those spellings... I want to say Wordtris. And I couldn't care less about Idaho - all my potatoes come from PEI anyways. |

Yiffy Kitten, Dan Quayle wasn't a moron (He was pretty smart, actually), he was just a *terrible* public speaker.
