| Well, I drink and smoke, but I've never tried marijuana or any illegal substances, so, nope I don't think alcohol has been a gateway drug in my case. Also, if you're going to look at things the way you look at it, simply breathing is the gateway to drugs... Oh, and I'd just like to mention something about the whole China thing, not that it matters. China has only 1 billion citizens, and the place is officially atheistic (China is, after all, still a communist country (contrary to what it may seem with the opening up of the last decade), and communism is still atheistic (religion being opium to the people and all)). It does have many Buddhists among its people though (even though the government preaches atheism, the people goes its own ways), but there are also lots of believers in Confucius. Saying that India is Buddhist is just completely wrong, though. India is a Hinduistic country, with a significant minority of followers of Islam (around 11%, or 100 million, if you like  ). |

| Buddhism was born in India, but left, now it's slowly coming back. Concufianism is a code that most Chinese follow. While the government may preach atheism, how many fundamental Buddhists are going to obey that? Before, it was Buddhist/Confucianist, now a lot still follow it. Opuim is religion, lol. Hmm. I like my caffeine but I'm not an addict.  I'd actually believe 99% of the people on this board when it comes to drug use. That's usually not something you joke around about because then someone calls someone else an idiot and it all goes downhill. | No one can OD from marajuana and there is no reported death directly from pot. If you check like the top three car crash things in california it is not marajuana. If you ever watch pen and teller bullshit they explianed it all. I know shit because almost everyone in my family smokes pot. Which is wierd since my brother is a flunking high school frop out, but he doesn't drink or do any kind of drug or smoke for that matter. | |||
