| With cigarretes and alcohol so widely and easily available. You can legally get your own high. Being drawn to a party where alcohol is avilable use of drugs like ecstacy and marajuana. People looking for a better high will naturally turn to these "gateway drugs", but let me ask you isn't alcohol the real gateway drug? | |||

| Erm... 1) When you refer to "drugs" you usually are talking in the relm of the illegals. 2) People have just as easy a time illegally obtaining pot as they do alcohol, at least from my exp.  3) I liek milk. So, in conclusion, marijuana is the gateway drug for illegal drugs. The gateway drug for legal drugs is probably caffeine.  |

| Well, in my case I started with weed, then went to alcohol, then a few harder drugs (Not regularly). So in my case weed was the gateway drug, but any drug can be it depends on the person. | |||

| Around here, some kids start out with CRACK people. Not tobacco, not alcohol, not even marijuanna, crack cocaine. Seriously, that's how easy it is to get. It makes me sick to see a sale in progress because I know that person might be dead tomorrow. Best way to solve it: Be like China. Shoot the drug-using mothers in their heads and leave a sign on their corpse for those impressionable kids to see. I'll bet you they wouldn't even consider touching the stuff for as long as they possibly lived. | |||
