Muhuhahahahahahahahahahahaha...whew...there, I did it. I don't think we can trust the Russians. They would prolly backstab us the first chance they got. |

Well I don't think we did, theres no air on the moon yet the flags waving, thats proof enough for me. Think about it if we did it back in 1969 (over 30 years ago) why do we need to wait untill 2008 to go back thats almost how long it took them to figure out how to go the first time.. I wish we went to the moon but sadly it really doesn't look like we did. Oh and to whoever said the launch and landing was proof, all they probly did was circle the Earth a bunch of times. |

Well, maybe the reason that we're not going bavk to the moon is, um, let's see here...the freaking explosion of the Columbia?!?! With that still making waves, no freaking way is NASA gonna make ANY freaking moves in space. They've got their own shit to deal with down here, much less try something in SPACE. Man...

http://www.allthingsflash.com/You_Are_an_Idiot.swf What are you, fucking stupid? Fucking unpatriotic sonofa.... Look, Whine-stein, Neil Armstrong landed on the moon. He played golf on the moon. Now, there is NO way they could've faked that shit with the cinemagraphic technology they had in the 1960s. And NASA is doing shit in space; it's called Mars. Dumbass. Only post if you know what you're talking about. Shit; saying we didn't land on the moon is like saying we didn't capture Saddam. Tin foil... I oughta beat you. They were using, basically, the same thing that we are using today! Only our shuttles and shit today have more flashy do-hickeys. We were on the moon. Look it up on google images: MOON LANDING. I swear to God... People amaze me. (edited by drjayphd on 05-14-04 04:57 PM) |

That's not what I'm talking about; How could you fake the stuff like a man on the moon, moving a normal pace, but like he's kinda jumping on a trampoline... or something, I dunno... with a flag, barely swaying to movements the astronauts made to stick it in the ground and it being completely unfurled? Impossible in the 60s. (edited by drjayphd on 05-14-04 04:58 PM) |

First of all, I'm talking about the fact that we were going back to the moon much sooner, but Columbia is one of the reasons that manned space flights are dead right now. Second, there is veritable scienrific proof that we went to the Moon. Third, the government could not fool this many people for this long, JaCory. Smarter people than you have looked at it, so give it up.

I'm not pissed. Oh, and those 2 men are an exception. They were needed, and if the whole Columbia thing hadn't happened, we would be doing a LOT more, life getting the International Space Station fully assembled and working at maximum capacity.

Its a sad fact but shuttles blow up all the time what makes this one so special that all things involving space must be post phoned... |

Dude, 2 shuttles have blown up and both were huge disasters. That's not counting the Space Race. Then, you would have been more comfortable, with all the shuttles blowing up. Nowadays, this is some SERIOUS SHIT MAN.

Hmmm... I dunno. Maybe a big fucking war in Iraq with Bush putting all his money into that cause and destroying gay marriages. There ain't enough money. Also, the country is in debt by like, 9 trillion dollars. Literally. (edited by drjayphd on 05-14-04 04:59 PM) |

"I've never actually seen the moon and neither have you." "do they really need to spend years making sure it's not going to blow up" yes. another reason NASA is not sending people to space is that there isn't a public interest in it. People just don't care like they did in the 60's. That was just my opinion and I got NO PROOF SOZ |

Holy shit. I've heard of stupid conspiracies and stupid people but this one takes the motherfucking cake. Are you also saying every spacewalk in recorded history has also been fake? Well, these were conducted outside of the god damn Van Allen belts as well. Proof that although radiation is deadly, it isn't as deadly as you say Levels of radiation on the moon, "0.3 Sv per year during solar maximum activity (about now) to ~ 1 Sv per year during solar minimum periods" - I think a typo is there (0.3 is min and 1.0 is max), but as it says, this is 0.3-1.0Sv PER YEAR. The radiation at Chernobyl "is 3 roentgens per hour - which is 300,000 times normal." 3 rotegens per hour vs 1 per year... yeah, the moon's really deadly |
