The freezing would have to be something wrong with your ROM or game - despite its difficulty and everything, I don't think it's been known to crash.  |

| *Decides to court controversy* Halo. There I've said it, that and most FPS' to be honest. Doom was excellent, as it had bags of atmosphere and simple controls. It was visceral, it was immediate, after the Doom series, ID lost the plot and introduced a thousand and one controls which were anything BUT intuitive. Yes it's cool you can look around in one direction and run in another but when it's so hard to do.... Also, ALL FPS's are more or less the same, apart from Half Life, but I've never played it, I just like the plot. |
