I heard it emulates like shit. So, I take it that PocketSNES is actually moving along nicely?

I never expected such a thing... well, until it can emulate SMRPG perfectly, I think I'll stick to PocketNES.

Erm, a lot of us knew this.

SMW itself runs fine apparently but you'd have to test out other hacks to see if they run fine with SNES Advance as well.

Yeh its still very dodgy but a good place to start. I tried my own zelda hack which strangely had no sprites. Alot of the great games like Metroid dont even start. Although im settle playing Smash TV on the move.

Well, I just quickly consulted a compatibility list and some games are marked as extremely playable - including SMW. Although there might be a few minor glitches.

Don't forget that even though the GBA can emulate the SNES, there's still a lot of memory limitations/etc. that the emulator has to deal with.

I want one...

There was a thread about this somewhere, but I don't remember if it was on this board. Or on the old board.

SMW and Simcity is the two games that runs fine, that's the only games out of my ROM collection that work to...

The flash cards all have X amount of memory for the roms and Y amount for battery saves, I think.

In any case, you shouldn't run out of save space even if you have a bunch of roms on there.

Any games with a special Chip or other Hardware won't work with SNES Advance, so, no SMRPG, no Star Fox, no Mario Kart.

I'll probably sound like a total idiot here, but, how can you play snes games on gba? Doesn't SNES use more buttons than GBA?

Most SNES games don't use L+R that much, or they have the same effect as another button... They've ported Link to the Past, SMW, SMW2, and a few others pretty flawlessly... so I think you can make due with the GBA

EDIT: sometimes I have to be a grammar nazi on myself

I'm sure you can map the buttons. Might take a while to come up with a proper setup for every game but people make do.

(For example, you could just use a light/heavy or medium/heavy setup for SF2.)

No, Super Mario World uses X, Y, A and B differently. Try it.
